Com'on, people! Why the hell did the writes have to line up the Smallville universe with the Superman legend stoyline (about he being with Lois and all that crap)?? When you can clearly see here an amazing team on Clark with Chloe. In my humble honest opinnion, it would have been the best couple ever, as many of you believe as well! And not only that… I can't understand how on Earth Clark can be interested on Lana when's that girl she doesn't understand herself on any level! The gal had a boyfriend and, for a quite a while, left Clark on the friendzone from the very beginning. Then she catches Clark with Chloe and gets jelous as you see on this clip. Like, come on man, ¿really? I'm a grown ass man, grew up watching Smallville and have the experience to say that sometimes people like Lana are absolutely toxic. Chloe was the best match (fine, I also admit I have a thing for snarky short-haired blondes, but come on! She was great option!); although too sad Chloe's actress was involved in all the sex cult shit. 0:43 Nobody cares about you, Lana! Go Away!
You're dumb Lana showed interest in Clark since the beginning she didn't leave him in the friendzone she waited on Clark to make the first move YET he never did. To add Lana went through the most shit with and FOR Clark...She married Lex to protect Clark's secret...Chloe ran her bitter ass to Lionel Luthor to sell Clark out or did you forget that? Chloe was extremely jealous and pushy with Clark and his time no way in hell was she the best "fit" you sound ridiculous.
There were sometimes when Clark wanted chole like when he came back from his fight with lex aka zod before he had met jimmy and at prom his feelings for chole had come back when she enters the gym his face is so happy and after they broke up and she came back the next year from the summer she made up a story to get him jealous and u know what it worked I saw it and when she had started dating Oliver ClarkWas super jealous when chole hugged Oliver because he was safe Clark could not stand to look at Oliver and he was wishing it was him not Oliver I saw it on Clark’s face again
Clark is worse at picking up silent messages than a guy with Aspergers! Anybody with half a brain could tell that Chloe wanted him to fight for her. Which she should have known that he wasn't going to pick up on her silent messages.
So if Clark had liked Chloe at one point, the writers should've gave them a least one whole season of being a couple. Then mutually break it off and have his dumb ass chase Lana again. Only to finally feel stupid, she was never the one. Lol.
Lana isn't the one because the writers followed the Superman mythos which was stupid because what Clark and Lana had was superior to what Clois had to add Clark had no romantic chemistry with Chloe so no it wouldn't make sense to have them as a couple for one season. Clark wasn't a dumb ass for being with Lana...She loved him in return Lana is the girl he didn't end up with but taught him everything about what love is, making sacrifices, being human etc...
@@HazelAmarie Clark's relationship with Lana was the most irrelevant part of this show. It was dragged on for much too long, and she never complemented him in a way that made him better.
I don't think he ever had romantic feelings for Chloe. He only entertained the idea of them being together AFTER he found out she had feelings for him and I think because they were already close friends and he obviously cared about her, he conflated those platonic feelings with potential romantic ones.
It's been a long time since I've seen this scene but holy shit it's just as stupid as I remember. This was horrible writing. I really don't think Chloe would really sabotage her own romantic relationship with Clark. Even her explanation made no sense. So out of character. I think her and Clark could of really had something because he showed obvious intrest in her. I don't think it would of been permanent because Lana was always lurking around in the background(ugh) but it would of been nice to actually see these 2 date for at least a season.
this songs plays constantly at my work and EVERY TIME I HEAR IT I THINK OF THIS SCENE!!! Clark and Chloe Harry and Hermione my luck with pairings suc... wait a sec... two dark haired blue/green eyed heroes... two hot brainy 'sidekicks'... both ignored the girl for a hot vaguely Asian girl with an alliterative name (Cho Chang-Lana Lang)... both ended up with women who were totally wrong for them according to how their character played out in canon... GOD DAMMIT!!!!
Yea I wanted them so bad but he did see her like that two times when he saw her with Justin he got jealous and jimmy and Oliver when he saw her with jimmy he got very sad and also with Oliver
I wonder what this show would have looked like if the storyline of Smallville had diverged at this point. totally different Im guessing. Then I thought, I can imagine all the hate male gough and millar would have got from the Canon people.
Kaagh178 That awkward moment when Chloe's son finds out his parents got married during a drunken encounter. And spent more time as friends with benefits than they did in a serious relationship.
