@Spiritofthelaw The Civ bonus of their cavalry doing more bonus damage, is that more bonus damage to things they already do bonus damage too, or just more damage in general?
Should have extended that Squarespace pun a little further and added a "n" at the end. After all, BBQ is something that tends to happen outdoors, but often next to the house.
Love this video especially the details on how exactly thumbring increases fire rate! I think this would be a great vid to remaster like you have been for some other older videos lately. I’m sure some things have changed since DE and all the patches or even just adding the new units.
I remember several times not too long ago playing AoE2 with my cousin on a 2 v 2 match against the new medium level AI, we won a few times. But it was a load of fun, I would always play goths and he would play teutons, he would make defenses for both of our bases and deal with a lot of the raiding parties while I rushed to imperial age and focused on my economy and mass barracks, and then once we felt we were ready, a flood of huskarls, pikes and champions would pour out of my base deep into the heart of the enemy camp where I would just place the rally point for all my barracks and just keep making more as my boys died and a phalanx or two of teutonic knights would march out of his base and clean up behind them and break through any places my guys were struggling. I need to start playing this game again haha
for me La Hire is the BEST of the best, he is like a WWE wrestler who is bad in ring but when you give a microphone to his hand you see where his shine. He is the best talker also good at taking out the trash units ❤❤ LA HİRE WE FİGHT FOR THE MAİD OF ORLEAN ❤ JOAN OF ARC ❤ LA HİRE
My favorite is JOAN OF ARC 😢 ı always cry her death ı love her bcs she is religious. Sometimes in home I yell like this WE FİGHT FOR THE MAİD OF ORLEAN 😢 may the god rest your soul young brave girl ❤❤😇
Is there a way one could emulate an "All Techs" civ in the scenario editor, e.g. maybe with clever triggers that effectively remove or undo the civ bonuses of a particular civ? Just checking "full tech tree" wouldn't work - as I understand it, that works differently in the scenario editor & doesn't remove civ bonuses - and checking "Full Tech Tree" in the game options would apply it to _all_ the players in the match, as opposed to just some. Would be really interesting to see how this hypothetical civ with a full tech tree but no bonuses or unique techs plays out vs. a standard civ, not just in theory but in practice! (Also... would it have a UU to build at the castle?)
This is wonderful concept and more games should have such websites that allow to combine and modify things in more easy and accessible way for ordinary people
Hi, i Hope someone will read this- i starten with aeo on xbox. Every Time i Play online, i lose. I think the Reading is, that my enemies always collects mich more resources. After 1 Hour of Building Up, they always destroy me, if i Take a Look at the statistics, they Collect the Double Ankunft of Wood and Food, 3x more Gold and much more Stone. How can this be- is there an booster for resources? I think it Cant be, that they make so much more resources without much more villagers, but if they Produce so much more Workers, how Are they able to still got Faster to the next age and building an Army?
Award for the most random fact I ever learned about AOE to this video. That close up of loom @6:42 showed me this is a zoomed in picture of a piece of fabric, not a zoomed out picture of a farm, as I have thought.. well, forever.
Woad Raiders are more like the Picts, and the middle aged "Celts" are actually the Gaels... The "Celts" were more Romans and should have been included in AOE1. 1500 years of historic differences, merged into one catch all. Sigh...
Aoe1 the game where it's all about building horse archers / elephant archers because nothing beats them. Infantry / cavalry units gets kited all day. Also, there's no true counter in this game like Aoe 2 with skirmishers or else. Mass horse archers and wins.
