In our videos we take a look at Knives of all shapes and sizes, including hot new items from major brands. Be sure to subscribe as we post at least one new video every week! Feel free to send us requests if there is a knife you would like to see a video on!
KnifeHub.com was founded in early 2018, after the store manager of a small firearms shop in Waterford, Michigan successfully convinced the owner to get into the knife business! KnifeHub.com was created and built entirely in-house, and is operated in conjunction with the gun store by its 5-person staff.
I bought one, carried it for 2 weeks and returned it. Very disappointing effort to say the least. $180 for that? Cheap feeling plastic scales, way off balance and many of the other complaints that most people have. Suckers are born every minute though, and that's exactly what Benchmark is counting on with this one.
I'll tell you why I don't care for the elementum. It's basic... And I mean as basic as basic gets. It's not even that great of a slicer. It's a perfectly fine knife but I would rather spend 90 on a Delica. If I'm just going to go with something plain Jane. Now they're Damascus button lock with the carbon fiber scales is a treasure!!!! For $90 that knife is a freaking steal!!!
Any thoughts on the claims from many people, that Microtech has been strong-arming retailers to stop selling Axial Gear if they want to continue selling Microtech?
I’ve been using the same blacked out Manix xl for heavy use at work for over a year now and it’s definitely up there as one of my favorite folders ever it’s so great
Kershaws are great! My Blur is still one of my favorite EDC knives. I don't have any of their autos, but that Launch 7 is appealing--I like the size and the clip point.
I was gonna come by your store today. But the microtech u t x eighty five I had seen online was purchased and now sold out but now that I see axial otf I'm very interested. Are you able to sell them yet? Waterford is a long way away from me, but I'll make the trip if I can get one.
I got mine just a short while ago, and I like it, a lot. I am really pleased with its size, which fits my hand perfectly. The action is spectacular (a little hard to reverse flick, but the thumbstuds work well otherwise, and I like thimbstuds). I was skeptical about the compound grind on the blade, but now that I have it, I love it! Everything about this knife is about perfect! I have no complaints except, perhaps, that it’s very angular, with some pretty sharp corners, but that goes with the aesthetic territory, and I like the aesthetic!
I actually just got a elementum Wharncliffe Damascus, cetos, and vision FG for Christmas. Really like the elementum wharncliffe. Opens so smoothly and looks very nice
I bought a Conspirator in black micarta and stonewashed blade. I love it so much I bought the dark green micarta with damascus blade. I also bought a Sentinel Strike and a Vision FG. Both are awesome in their own right but for some reason, I still prefer the Conspirator. To me, it's practically perfect. How do you make it better? Just use better materials. Other than that, the design, the size, the weight, the action and the blade are all spot-on. I love them so much I don't want to use them. 😄
Ed Caffrey has folders all locked up as far as style and quality imo. All others fall short. I make all my own knives as everyone should at least try to do once in their life. Forge On!!!
sued for what? because they make otf knives too?🤔 i feel ashamed that i own multiple of their knives and they def won't get my support in the future, not gonna finance bullies. ps: i'm pretty sure that mt's star wars themed knives aren't licensed, imagine the irony if disney would sue them😛
The CruWear PM2 is gorgeous. The design is great, but CruWear is such a nice steel to use - easy to keep sharp - stropping restores the edge most of the time, and although it doesn't hold it's edge as well as Maxamet, it's a lot more robust. My Maxamet PM2 chipped after essentially no use. I it was dropped on my desk while Spydie flicking to loosen up the pivot and it chippeda. The CruWear is a really nice balance IMO and has become my go to EDC.
I’m not sure why people get so bummed out over not having a lock on a knife this size. Never in my life have I used my dragonfly, etc. for something that required a lock. You’re pulling this out to snip or open something really quick then putting it back. If this were a 4” blade meant for backcountry use, I could definitely understand the controversy. But dude, a small urban carry? WHY do you need that to lock? And don’t give me any “defense” nonsense…the only thing you can reliably defend against with a knife of this size is a squirrel or someone who’s in a coma.
I need to sell some Spydercos. I wanna keep two but I can't decide. I am not a decider. Shaman 15v, Manix 2 20CV, PM2 M4 lava flow Carbon fiber, Para 3 Cruwear, and Sage 5LW. IF you could only keep 2?
Civivi are awesome. I'd love to see them to create a range between Civivi and WE brand - thow on an extra $25-75 give us everything the same but better blade steel. Same liner, same handle material, same ball bearing race, same hardware, but with CruWear or M390 or MagnaCut. With the current combination I'd like to see a 3.5" button lock Elementum.
The Spyderco Para2 is my first Spyderco knife & it is insanely sharp out of the box had it for several weeks is it a ton at work. It’s still insanely sharp as the day I took it out of the box
I LOVE the Civivi Nox, I got the grey stainless version and out a titanium clip on it, and if you didn't know better, you'd think it was a Ti Framelock. If I put it in my roll next to the ZT 0460, ppl may think it's a ZT0450, it looks that similar. But I carry the Nox to preserve my ZT and it feels pretty close to the ZT, but obviously a small step down.
