The solution to your "problem" is very easy: let all the historical Fenno-Swedish counties (Svenskfinland) and Åland secede and join Sweden. Then you'll have your ethnically pure Finland. To bad you'll loose fine chunks of the coast line as well as considerable parts of the metro areas of both Helsinki and Turku. Alternative would be to just accept Finlands bilingualism.

Many points there that I have not made and I have addressed in earlier videos, but my point is that university should be about meritocracy - Not about language politics. The problem with own services, is that they get protected in fiscal policy. And yes, for a peasant. Learning Swedish is pretty practical for a country with Scandinavians to one side and our common enemy on the other side.. unless you only want to hang out with Estonia were your closest allys and friends in every conceivable situation and though ethnically and linguistically far from each other, we are quite culturally close.

There is actually lot of these local museums that are open during the summer. They usually have lot of village life and early industrial factories in display. If you drive next to Kymijoki, you will see lot of beatiful villages.
As a Swede with both Fenno-Swedish and Finnish roots I do have mixed feelings about things like this, I obviously hope that the Fenno-Swedish culture and dialects of Swedish stay protected but I don't see a practical reson why Swedish needs to be mandatory.

I think the CIA or something did an experiment with guessing random cards from a deck and that by thinking of a certain card it effected the chances of it appearing. scientifically measurable and observable, even if only slightly. It would make sense that using words to focus your attention at a subconscious level could effect your immediate reality. I think they call it chaos magic and some other terms. Finnish goverments are coalition goverments. Longest run for swedes is 36 years straight in finnish goverment. With the help of foundations, they bank roll other parties that are pro-sweden in language issues.

The painter was close friend to the czar family but at the same time, he was a finnish nationalist that fought for independent finnish arts couple years later when Nicholas II tried to suppress finnish identity. Edelfeldt was wonderfully dualistic man, which I think is important part of being genius.

Mutta kannattaa googlata "peurasaaren kalmisto". Se on samanaikainen jättimäinen mesoliittinen hautausmaa ja isoin mesoliittinen löytö karjalasta. Nämä ihmiset olivat käytännössä puhtaita itäisiä metsästäjäkeräilijöitä ja siten oletan heidän olleen ensimmäiset ihmiset suomessa. Heidän hautaesineensä ovat myöskin yhteneviä suomesta löydettyjen hirvipatsaiden sun muun kanssa tuolta ajalta.
