I hate mary and Sheldon for this. First Sheldon thinks that he’s the only one with problems in the house. It’s not just his room missy has a right to it also. Then Mary gets home sees that Sheldon is upset goes to missy sees that she’s upset but didn’t care to ask why. Mary is a bad mother and Sheldon is a bad brother
I'm sad that George wasn't more supportive at first. I understand he worries about money, but being angry at her for something he contributed to, was wrong.
Confidence, leadership, and discipline can be learned mostly anywhere or in other school activities. I learned most of that in orchestra when I was in school.
Yes high school is not for everyone but most people finish just to have that peace of mind. Thank god for the in-laws and the store or he would not have the means to build his tire empire. Grandma, you lost 2 stores, a gambling den and a house so you cannot see what is best for Georgie in the end.
George has nothing really to be unhappy about. A job , a marriage, three kids, a house, etc. Homelessness and divorce are worse no??. Wayne got the short stick at the end with his wife cheating on him and having his BF baby. The principal boss with no one.
Billy Graham's policy when traveling and staying in a hotel: let his staff look around the room before he went in to make sure no woman was hiding in there. Policy #2: Never be in a room alone with a woman unless it was his wife.
Mary will always try to strike a connection with people, she's never closed off. Even in TBBT she made efforts to help the gang with their problems, even if she would turn preachy real quick. She's a giving soul.
I feel like Georgie made the wrong choice in life dropping out of school and getting Mandy pregnant and becoming father at a young age. I wanted to drop out of school but stayed on to graduate and that was it.
I dropped out, worked hard to get certifications on what I wanted to work, after I paid $3500 I had 3 years of experience then I got my high school diploma under 3 months, and I make 6 figures at 24yo. I feel like you can drop out if you have a plan.
Even as a child Sheldon made the lives of those around him unnecessarily inconvenient and difficult. Really felt sorry for his family who always had to take the backlash of his crazy antics. Except Mary of course, all she ever did was enable him which I think we can agree why he turned out the way he did. If it wasn't for the influence of Leonard, Penny, Amy and all his other friends he would have remained an awkward social outcast destined to die alone. Took Sheldon years to grasp that fact and realise how difficult he made his family's and friend's lives.
Of all the comments I read I don’t see anyone talking about how George clearly needed someone to talk to but guys being guys they just shrug off what is obviously a cry for some help and understanding.
DON'T let your kids drop out, for god sake. Without a HS Diploma they will be stuck at the bottom rung for their whole life unless they get extremely lucky. And don't think college is a waste of time either, just don't let your kids get worthless degrees and it won't be bad. Point them in the direction of computer science, cyber security, ANYTHING that is in demand. Trust me, they'll thank you when they are making bank salary and have the knowledge to start actual money making side hustles that aren't a waste of time.
