It's sad and i agree every time we see competitive play there are cases of cheating. I still remember that Magic the gathering world championship where a portuguese player were cought cheating while representing his country. well representing all portuguese players, ppl who knew him and repected him alot. This is what kill the game for me. I really don't want to see that in Lorcana.
I hope you're not done with this channel Mario, I watch a lot of people talk about market watches, but you are the best one by far, and it's not close at all. If you've moved on though, thanks so much for what you did offer the community, I learned a lot about what makes possible good investments from you, and a few have definitely popped off! Hope to see you soon.
I like saying " Fire the cannons! " so I would say that is my favourite card. A card called "Double the powder!" would be good too if they made one. and I pulled the legendary from this but have yet to use it in a game. I would want it at a location to beef up the defence before challenging. then I can take out 3 cards to gain as much lore as I can before having to discard it from taking too much damage. I also want The Sultan character or action card to be made, not sure why they did not make one, he is so funny. (Jasmin's Father) It Would be a good combo card.
Lgs is getting more chapter 1 . Not a lot just 1 case or 4 booster box . So I wouldn’t buy at this price . If your LGs is cool enough you can get 1 box for 159.99 plus tax
So for the gencon event, 4 players will be playing against Ursula. At the end of the event each participant receives a sealed copy of the deep trouble quest. This was clarified on discord as the actual gencon event description didnt mention this. So far I dont believe they have spoiled the promo you receive yet for any of the gencon events.
Lorcana, we need The Hunchback of Notre Dame, Black Cauldron and even Tarzan! Exciting, though rather disappointing with all these Mulan cards revealed and yet still no Mushu.
Stitch is a great long term move. It’s the first championship promo and if you ever played any other TCG, the first official tournament promos typically always play the long game beautifully. Account for the 10 population being low, the 10’s will do great. Rarity when it comes to the “first of it’s kind”type of card is a hard argument to make. Visually it’s more appealing than the D23 as well, so it’s got the more subjective community bias going for it as well
Hey, love your videos I feel like you give the most realistic sound perspective and not carried away with hype or the opposite negativity. Although speaking of hype when do you think the next spike of prices will occur and what would be the catalyst for it? Thanks
As a collector, I think they can learn a bit from trading card manufacturers like TOPPS. I Would like them to add some numbered chase cards. Maybe put in some signed cards in boosterboxes. They could for example add certain chase cards that can only be found in troves while other cards can only be found in boosterboxes. I Like the enchanted cards and the foils. But they could do more unique cards for collectors. Even if they would just put in some promo cards in boxes at random, that would be a great chase.
I commented on the last video, but it was quite a while after release so i'll say something similar here. I'm sorry you didnt enjoy the coverage, I cant speak for the other commentators, but casting is absolutely a new skill set for me and I am learning on the job. I do think overall Chicago was a huge improvement over Atlanta in many aspects, and I am constantly working on improving... I love this game and just wish to share my passion for it with lots of people. On a completely different note, the new hairstyle is fantastic!
Hey, I listen and comment every week. As someone who is holding 5 cases of the First Chapter, I just want to say that from my perspective this isn't a safe investment. It's speculative. Big win or big loss. It's really all up to RB and how they treat the community, collectors, and are able to creatively keep people involved with interesting cards, artwork, and more. Balancing everyone's wants in a game like this is tricky. If they go on a reprint rampage I also think it would be a mistake. Value and keeping this game a CCG rather than just "game pieces" goes a long way in keeping people interested. Just my opinion.
Too early in the game for amazing structure decks imo. Also yugioh is terrible the extra decks are over 1000 bucks if you want to compete month later cards are banned .
I can't speak for the rest of the team, only myself. But you are absolutely right that I don't have previous commentary experience. I've been making content for the best part of a decade and I'm very comfortable on a microphone, but commentary is a new skill set that I'm learning on the job. Ravensburger approached me and I was, ofcourse, absolutely honored to be asked... I absolutely adore this game and sharing it with more people, I'm trying my hardest and putting as much effort as I can into improving... for what it's worth, I genuinely feel like Chicago was a HUGE step up over Atlanta in all aspects and I'm proud of what the team has put together. I am not ashamed, I'm sorry I suck, I'm genuinely working hard not to 😅
Found a fun combo for trumpeter in amber steel. Use the cost reduction for both Pluto 1 cost, turn 2 play Gaston for turn 3 trumpeter. Then turn 4 you can drop a big bomb or just Aggro 3 characters. But it’s a fun deck for trumpeter. Just a random thought cause I saw the video a little while back where you said buy up trumpeters and now I have like 8 haha
I heard they got rid of pixelborn? Ravensburger is wack. I lost a couple hundred bucks on lorcana. I've only ever played Yu-Gi-Oh but even in Yu-Gi-Oh it wasn't like every card crashed hard when 1 set comes out. I was so ready to play comp lorcana and made a fairly good amber amethyst deck and it was terrible in tourney I bought lilos for like 20$ a pop lol I get probably not smart but I literally didn't expect them to go to like 3$ lol. This game should just come out with actually comp starter decks like with meta chase cards and all. I'm not gonna play unless it's 30$ and I can compete and not with some niche strat that barely works. I imagine a lot of people are upset about this stuff and even you in a video said the rollout of product could have been a marketing scheme. That's why this game is dead. They power crept so hard. I thought I could go all out on the first set and be able to trade for the new stuff I would need but that happened to be impossible
