I’ve had the A Sweet’s for most of my drumming career.(Over 28 years) and fell in love with the 21” K Sweet Ride. Like you said, I’d choose the K for versatility > The A Sweet. It has a better bell, stick definition and wash.
Hi dude I'm not sure how to play along with music on the ead10. I have an Apple ipod nano with music and an mp3 stick with music........where do I connect the ipod nano and whete do I put the mp3 stick ?Do any buttons need to be pressed to access the songs ? Sorry I just got it and have no idea how to play along to fav tracks. 🙋🇦🇺
I’ve had 4 of them. I never cracked them or anything but I had to sell two a while back because I needed the money. I have two now. One is the older kind with the small A and the newer one I got in an A box set. They really are the perfect crash ride. You can easily get away with just a sweet ride and a pair of hi hats in just about any gig. I showed up for a gig once with just hi hats and a sweet ride. My guitarist wasn’t happy about it but I just had to try it and it was so much fun.
Hi man! I just bought mine like 2 months ago and in that period of time , it has acquired some small dots of what I think it’s rust ☹️, they’re all over the cymbal and it’s a little bit worrying for me considering what I paid for it. Is it normal ? How can I fix this problem?
I have never had that problem with any of mine or any of my A Zildjians. That’s kinda strange. My oldest sweet ride is going on ten years old and It looks it’s age but it doesn’t have rust or anything like that. I really don’t take good care of mine either. Do you live in a high humidity place or something?? I live in Perth Australia. I would have no idea why a good cymbal would deteriorate like that
hey brother sick cover bro can you please explain how do you set up the settings on the EAD10 an how to EQ the EAD10, what software do you use or what program
You may have a back problem if you have to lie down in pain after 30 Mins. I've sat on worst stool for longer with no Magor pain. And I'm 56 Good post though.
I use the Tchad Blake method, one nice mic (SE Electronics) on top of the bass drum, make mix easier with one track! ^ I could buy a 2nd hand EAD10 though
Yet, you can easily & affordably just upgrade the ZS10 Pros with an 8 core cable... After that? One would genuinely be hard pressed to rationally deny the obvious winning cost/performance ratio of these IEMs. The consumer is undeniably getting quite a lot for a comparatively minimal investment. Do they fall out of your ears? Buy some more suitably fitting tips. Even then? You'd easily afford yourself a redundant backup pair and still be saving compared to most typically popular name brand alternatives. I mean, while I completely get the whole established corporate brand loyalty & psychological security blanket utilized by many to subjectively rationalize overpaying for mere tools? I've never once gazed in amazement at Vincent van Gogh's "The Starry Night" and ever wondered to myself if the retail brand of oils and brushes he used to create that masterpiece were perhaps popular or even overtly expensive at the end of the 19th century. Moral: Be sceptic of any "industry standard" conformity, tools, or conventional practices. Unless however, you perhaps are intentionally trying to sound like everybody else. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
I have the hydraulic version, which I don’t like because it spins excessively. I love the comfort of the seat itself though. I really want a stationary throne where the seat doesn’t spin. Is this throne able to be set up so that the seat doesn’t spin?
no not really. The "hack" is on how to get the cotton balls into the drum. Not the actual method of muting your toms in the first place. This trick saves you a lot of time because you don't have to take off your batter head and re-tune every single time you want to place/add more cotton balls inside your drum until you achieve the (subjectively) perfect amount. Hence why it is called a "hack"
Do I need to download a driver for the PC to recognize the ead 10? I just connected the usb cable, and the ead doesn't appear as a device. Just like midi, and still no sound comes out.
I know this video is 2 years old but are you sure you didn't have the cables plugged in the earbuds the wrong way? if you switch them around perhaps they'll fit better, I never had a problem with the fit, but eh.
Thank you for the video! Quick, simple, straight to the point. I was also a bit overwhelmed by the different sound recording software, and I love the easier layout of Reaper. Cheers!
