I lived in Jeddah for 4 and a half years in the 80's. Have been all over KSA. I was never so happy to come home to freedom in 1988. No matter how nice it is there you will never be free. Try having a church meeting there and see what happens to you if you get caught. It was hard being a Christian living in that country. So happy I'm out of there, but happy I went so I understood our freedoms in the USA and will never take them for granted again. Yes I was there living with my kids dad and his family who were Saudi's. They treat there maids so bad. maybe not all but so many of them. Don't disagree with them. When I told them I was a Christian all hell broke out. I taught at a college where many of the princess of the royal family attended. Loved the Red Sea, but most of all I loved the food. It was the best. Yes I know things have changed there in the last couple years. I still have 2 children that live there and 4 grandkids.
