$400 per month for a gym is INSANE. Here in the UK most gyms are between $15-50 per month

That room looked very comfortable and spacious! The most impressive thing is... the person inside! Okay, let me mention that the big bed is also very nice! The nearby shopping mall makes life very convenient! The slippers and bathrobe look very high-end! The terrace, cafe, gym, and swimming pool are all great! New York is such a great city, ..... but so far away from me! 😅 You did a really great job, thanks a lot for sharing! 👍🤩🙏

NYC is so expensive, I’m sure a boujee hotel room is the last thing people will prioritize spending money on while visiting. Dinner for two costs $100 anywhere you go, $400+ for nice places. Any of the paid attractions are at least $100 per person. Thankfully there’s a lot to do there for free, and flights are generally cheap and direct. But still, you can get a perfectly nice hotel centrally located in midtown Manhattan for under $300/night.

Equinox is a huge waste of money. You just spent 700 bucks in one month. You could take that money, save for two months and get a squat rack at home... literally workout everyday.. Thats what i do in nyc.

I’ve got home workout equipment but the whole experience sucks vs going to a gym and being around other people working out. The planet fitness near me has the same equipment as lifetime fitness (equinox competitor) so I just go there for $15/month vs $220

room alone definitely isn't worth $1K/night, especially when your direct line of view is another glass building... but if the price INCLUDES complimentary gym & pool access, then yeah it's worth it (as per NYC standards haha) also what BS to have a $300 "initiation fee" lmao, I love Equinox but I've always found that ridiculous

Sooo- glad you had fun but $1000 is steep. You commented on the mirror and robes! 😭 for that- I’m expecting way more than cool mirror or robes. And Equinox certainly doesn’t have anything on Bannatyne in the UK, because pools and jacuzzis come standard 😂 for $100!

What’s your apartment run a month? $$$$$$$ These hotels in any locations above $200 is ridiculous! You sleep in the room that’s it!! Society has gone mental in even thinking paying the prices you give! Your $700 and some is a waste of money!!! So sad, you get less but pay tons more to feed an ego!!! You pay for all that crap in the room, it’s not free!!!

Pretty crazy they charge so much, but it’s located near some major business skyscrapers so a lot of business people probably wouldn’t mind paying for a few days I guess
