Hallo.
I'm not sure where the temperature sensor for the AdBlue is. I have lost my Sharan documentation and sold that car as well. I can recommend this website: erwin.volkswagen.de/erwin/showHome.do ...or this Facebook group: facebook.com/groups/1463201880401563/?ref=share
Great video! I was able to take my disk off without taking the bracket off. But How can I take the piston out of the calliper? I need to check it, because the pads keep rubbing on the disk and after 4 km the whole tire is hot...a few more km and the fluid starts to boil.... I guess there is some dirt inside that stops the piston to go back, so I would like to clean it all.
I have never disassembled a calliper, sorry. A few times when they had a problem (not on the Audi), I just bought a new one. Refurbished. They sell refurbished, too.
Excellent video thank you - very clear and to the point. The switch on my '99 V reg mk4 just failed and needs replacing, looks like it should be an easy job.
Hi please help so i fixee my leak but added some gearbox oil to my powershift trought the filling hole jus to make up what oil i lost but i notice i didnt see the oil at the top trough the filling hole am i suppose too
@wawayltd ok but u will know the answer I want jus want to know whe u refil with gearbox oil do u see it come to the top of the filling hole before u put the cap on the oil or not
Hi, i know you dont have the car any more but this must have been the BLB engine right? Did you ever have to replace the oil pump/balance shaft to get to over 400k miles or was it done when you bought the car? Mine is 2006 BLB and im at 180k miles now but hoping to make it to 300k 😂 but I read all this stuff about bad oil pump but dont know the history i have had it since 130k.
As far as I know, they had badly designed pumps, and the pumps were failing a lot. I bought that car on about 36.000 miles from a dealership. The pump failed 2 months later after purchase. I had an unpleasant fight with the dealership, and long story short, they have done something, so the pump lasted until 409.000 miles. It happened a couple of months before the end of the taxi licence, so I didn't bother to invest anymore. Personally, I don't have any mechanical experience with those pumps. This is my story.
if the arrow of tensioner after turning is out of the gap (to the left) , so can i retension the tensioner? For that i need to loose the bolt of tensioner itself but also camshaft and hp pump too i assume?
If it's up to (around) 5mm away from the middle of the gap, I would leave it as it is. You can tighten up the tension as well. In that case, I wouldn't bother loosening camshaft and pump because you will check timing anyway with extra turns. If it requires the adjustment, then adjust it as described. That's the way I see it 😊
@@wawayltd Thank you a lot. The problem is, that i used old tensioner ( because during mounting of new one i have brocken the pin of tensioner somehow) and after driving a car, decided to buy a new one. So i opened the cover of timing belt and saw that timing belt was shifted to outside of the wheels of camshaft and hp pump. Also the tension of tensioner was completely out of edge by approx. 3mm to the left. So now i want to replace the old tensioner and do the right tension on it like you showed, a littel bit more above the middle to the right. Thank you for support!
The position of the tensioner also depends on engine temperature. When the engine is hot, it's not going to be the same. That's why cambelt replacement/adjustment must be done with cold engine

I tried to do the right thing - walked into my local garage, who's also my MOT tester, and asked if he had much experience with VW EGR issues. Almost immediately he advised me to get it mapped out, assuring me the emissions would be okay and it would be a lot cheaper than paying them to physically address the issues. I was worried about doing it but it's been a couple of days and the car feels so much better.
Thank you for taking your precious time and taking out the battery to help people. You didn't need to do that since It works but helping us made you a better person. Thank you!
The camshaft and crankshaft are timed. The other fuel pump shaft moved somehow. When the belt comes off, the fuel pump pulley needs to rotate back, but I am not sure about how. It may need a special tool to rotate it. We'll see. Thank You for getting back to us.
This is so cool! I was already thinking about removing plastic on both sides wich could take me at least 2h. I was panicking until you've said DON'T PANIC. Saved me a lot of time and nerves.Thank you man!
That bushing seems to be a nightmare. I would try to set a big sturdy hose clamp around the bushing and leave just a couple of millimeters at the window so it can slide in.
Добрий день, після встановлення ременя ГРМ виникла помилка P0016 Bank 1: CMP Sensor (G40) / Engine Speed Sensor (G28): Incorrect Correlation. В чому може бути проблема. 2015 VW Passat TDI
Hi, i have p190d00 coolant pump for charge pressure cooler mechanical malfunction Skoda octavia 1.6tdi VIN : TMBBG9NE7G0159220 I am a bit confused about chich part to replace.
Hi! In your car (same as mine), an intercooler is water cooled. The fault code points on to that little pump that pumps the coolant into it. You'll see coolant hoses coming out of metal box that sits on intake, follow them. I think it's one of 2 electric water (coolant) pumps hanging by oil sump. Here is more on that: www.vwaudiforum.co.uk/forum/showthread.php/198777-P-190-d
Hi, a lot of people asked me this question, and since I don't have that car for a while, I don't remember the answer, sorry.. These bolts can be bought somewhere like eBay as a part of the campbelt tool kit or separately. I used to remember the size. Probably, somewhere in the comments below it's mentioned.
I reckon that if led light isn't on even with the new battery, there must be something wrong with the circuit inside the key, something not electrically connected.. but I don't know how to help you there, sorry
Yet another great video. You are a natural, so concise and highlighting all the steps that might cause difficulty. Thank you to the person doing the camera work too.
Thanks 👍 I believe it should be pretty similar if your Golf has manual gearbox. However, I don't have that much experience, so I can't say how much similar, sorry. Your gearbox must be 5-speed on 1.6tdi, probably (my Sharan was 6). Still, it should be pretty similar.
Replace timing belt without replace OIL PUMP BELT and CRANKSHAFT SHAFT SEAL is a BIG MISTAKE ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-ajKQrr4Ix1U.htmlsi=oFwNrPfVVdHyrwjN
