Music has to go.. Very annoying. You need to describe verbally what you are doing. Waste of time. How about explaining why the pads are different colors.ETC..
@Justin Wynkoop I canceled my order, It was taking more than 1 month, And i found that alphacool had a better water block for it In the end i gave up everything and changed the thermal pads and paste, And i set a undervolt on MSI afterburner and it was quite good, Recently i changed it completely 😅
This one seems to have a good finish on the GPU contact, overall good quality but it's still as long as the original card. Meanwhile Bykski is a shorter variant but I've seen people report how horrible the CNC machining is on the GPU contact, even some images of it.
hola se que el video ya es del 2017 en mi pais el salvador tube uno de esos y donde esta la marca cougar lo cambie por vidrio templado y fibra de carbono con los logos de msi y de azus
So much wasted space on the back side of the card that makes pointlessly longer than it needs to be. Should have stuck with 265mm or less, fits in a lot more cases.
… waterblocks don’t influence your use of soft tubing/hard tubing. The fittings do. They screw onto the water block. Unless it’s a super weird block where the fittings are installed and not removeable, you can. But, I’m a bit concerned why you would ask such a question
@@CaptNemo_ Understandable and it is, but you don’t need to be concerned about what kind of tubing is compatible as it depends on fitting. Would recommend you look up some more videos on the topic.
Hey man how’s it going.. weird question, you the air cooler x leaf spring bracket that you removed to install the water block? Do you have to have that laying around be willing to sell it…? I’m PayPal ready. I just misplaced mine when I went to custom loop and sadly I need to go back to an air cooler.
This stuff is client builds i dont have what you ask for. I had a client not long ago with the same issue. He purchased a used card with a waterblock installed and brought it to install the stock cooler. The spring loaded piece wasnt included so i had to improvise with some nylon washers and spacers to make it work.
@@steritech are the washers and spacers strong enough to not cause issues with the card breaking or bending? That’s what I’m worried about… is the pure weight of the air cooler
just put together a bitspower classic like the one in the video and a ASUS TUF 3080TI and it was identical, really appreciated having your video to follow along to
I purchased a block like this for my 3070. I'm very lost as there's no instructions on where all the thermal pads go (I know on the vram, and the power things). My card is bigger than 1 slot and it's causing issues with my chipset block. Is this card supposed to be bigger than 1 slot?
I know this video was posted months ago but did you end up using an ekwb backplate for this card? I have an evga ftw3 ultra and I am wondering if the EK back plate is necessary or if I can just stick with the stock evga one?
@@tdog13 Active Backplate is needed for the 3090. But for 3080 and 3080Ti is is not necessary. Aftermarket backplates can also be better. EK has a Vector2 version I will be reviewing soon. Most likely just a reddit review.
