Nice video, though I don't think I would choose such a late departure/arrival time if there were other flights available. The food looks awful, but I am guessing these were COVID meals (and probably saved countless lives ...).
Great informative video. After researching the seat configurations for extra comfort on my upcoming July trip I booked row 4F this time. I flew two years in economy and swore never again! If you can nab any of these 11 seats right behind first class do it!! You will not regret it. Well worth the extra cash for such a long flight.
This is the 2nd Delta a220-300 video I've seen where the pilot has had to come out and help close the door. Unless that other video was recorded on the same flight. Edit: Different flight, same issue - ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-c9Bw5U5vguQ.html
Only if you are eligible. The easiest way to get Delta Sky Club access currently is having the AMEX Reserve Card or booking a Delta One ticket. First Class seats on Delta do not include access to the Delta Sky Club or any lounge.
if only the seat map represented the actual aircraft being used...aa's website rarely shows a forward/rear -facing seat map when they sell the flights, yet surprise..... when you board the aircraft and you have the product which most people do not want.
Nice! Sky Harbor has sure grown from the days I was a frequent flyer out of there nearly 40 years ago! Might I suggest proofreading before posting your reviews? Spelling, at least in the first few minutes, is atrocious!
Great video. Very interesting and informative. So American Airlines has the worst 321 neo. Because united looks amazing. It's so sad that in Charlotte, it's a American Airlines monopoly
This is one of the few times when I like something new better than the old thing it replaced, even if I had an attachment to the old one. I take it that they demolished and rebuilt this terminal completely for Delta Air Lines. I was in and out of LAX terminal 3 on trips a while ago with Virgin America, and Alaska for some reason had a flight from Seattle that had a gate at 3 in 2018-ish as well. To be honest, I never saw any issue with the old terminal until I saw the new one. The old one was so ahead of its time: you’d never know it was built in the 60s. Sure it was dated in places and felt a bit empty, but the main section had a spacious feeling with high ceilings and a lot of natural light: I liked it because it was unique, nostalgic, and I have memories watching planes from there. However, the new one definitely seems like a major upgrade. At least, there’s a lot more things to do while you wait for your flight. I like that they kept the unique airy feeling that I remembered from the old terminal while putting modern touches into the new design.
Delta is definitely the best US carrier right now and i try to fly them from here in Fresno anytime i can. They don't do non-stop to LA from here though, only Alaska and United do. I might have to book delta through salt lake City next time i go to LA just to see the new terminal
Nice in flight review and good editing! Liked the attention to detail. It’s cool that you were able fly on the inaugural flight. Looking forward to fly on the new Hawaiian 787. Thanks for sharing!

Windows in the toilet are not a great idea. How about if someone tries to smash the window and the crew can't get to stop them as they've locked the toilet door?
We are planning a SFO-HNL-SFO in mid Sept and the 787 does not show up on this route. Too early to see it or are they going to put it on a different route by then?
Wow! What a great flight review! Just found your channel and LOVE it! I subbed! What I like about the 787 is all the modern amenities like the seat recliner in the back row.
Very nice! Even though I live in New York, I’ve been on four HA roundtrips, as well as numerous inter island 717s. All of the long hauls have been on the 330. One of my old friends is an HA captain, and we actually coordinated (only once) our schedules, and he flew me and my adult children back to JFK. That was fun, and later in the day, when we all rested up, I took him to Lincoln Center. It had been about 80 degrees in Hawaii, then about 15 degrees in New York. Ouch! PS - takeoff on 26R? Very unusual; it’s almost always 08R.
I wish Hawaiian airlines newest, Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner have free wifi, external camera, air vent and lavatory inside the plane on, but it was disappointed that they don't install it.
Starlink just got approved by FAA so I’m sure it will be installed soon. I tried it on their airbus and it is the fastest I’ve internet I experienced on a plane. Faster than my own at home 😂
