Interesting how such a simple looking problem on the face of it, although using just abit of calculus you get such big, weird looking results, especially the potential. But what I know from all my time studying it is that even if it makes no immediate sense (why a logarith, and why is there a sum in a square, etc.), there is hidden beauty and depth to it. Quantum field theory was wild in that, just HUGE hieroglyphic equations, they had sense, you could read it, but damn was it difficult trying to.

Gravity quanta (digitally) measure the Universe?! With the help of the “HYBRID gyroscope” you can make scientific discoveries; in astronomy, astrophysics, cosmology, higher theoretical physics,... I am writing to you with a proposal for the joint invention of a HYBRID gyroscope from non-circular, TWO coils with a new type of optical fiber with a “hollow core photonic-substituted vacuum zone or (NANF)” where - the light travels 250 000 meters in each arm, while it does not exceed the parameters 89/89/89 cm, and the weight is 14,9 kg. Manufacturers of “Fiber Optic Gyroscopes” can produce HYBRID gyroscopes for educational and practical use in schools and higher education institutions. Einstein dreamed of measuring the speed of a train, an airplane - through the Michelson-Morley experiment of 1881/2024, and only then would the experiment be more than 70% complete. This can be done using a fiber optic HYBRID gyroscope. Based on the completion of more than 70% of Michelson's experiment, the following postulates can be proven: Light is an ordered vibration of gravitational quanta, and dominant gravitational fields adjust the speed of light in a vacuum. (We are not looking for ether, we will see the work of gravitational quanta) The result is a «theory of everything» in a simple teaching device and a new tape measure for measuring the universe.

Oh no. If Special relativity has the ambition of being a theory in the domain of mechanics (not in optics), physical time dilation only happens during acceleration phases of an object. The rate of change in atoms then slow down while accelerated through the quantum vacuum in space. There is nothing else than pure optical phenomena between two reference frames moving at constant velocity relative to each other, there logically can't be, two clocks can not slow down relative to each other within a specific time interval.The light clock represents the accumulated time dilation for the object which accelerated relative to the other object to create the relative motion, not a continuous accumulation of time dilation for objects in constant relative motion. Detailed explanation: The original squared velocity variable in the Lorentz factor is an acceleration variable equal to: 2 • acceleration • distance. Which is an equation originally derived by Torricelli (v squared = 2 • acceleration • distance, assuming initial velocity = 0), later incorporated among Newtons equations of motion. What that means is that the SR time dilation equation is not valid (can not be used) for calculating time dilation for time intervals where acceleration does not take place. Which means that the so called Clock hypothesis is false, which assumes that acceleration as such has no effect on time dilation. Instead, it is ONLY accelerated motion (but not gravitational acceleration with free fall) which creates physical time dilation. So: - All equations containing the v^2 variable in the SR theory are only mathematically valid during acceleration phases of objects, and effects in the theory during constant velocities are only optical from specific observers point of view. For example, the relativistic Doppler effect (the relativistic part of it) only happens during acceleration phases of objects, relative to non-accelerated objects. The purely optical part of the effect is of course there both in accelerated and non-accelerated motion. - The Clock hypothesis can be debunked with this simple logical/mathematical reasoning above (the Torricelli equation). - And the twin "paradox" can then be fully explained/understood, intuitively, logically, mathematically and physically. Physical processes in atoms slow down when a rocket is accelerated through the quantum vacuum in space. Only one twin is accelerated and it does not matter how far he/she travels back and forth with a non-accelerated coasting motion, the physical time dilation will be the same.

Hello. I have been inactive for a while now. But I will be uploading more lectures in the summer and next autumn. They will be about electricity and magnetism. Thank you for catching that. It actually has to be multiplied by "t". The final answer (11:01) is correct though. I just missed to write it down.

Thanks for the video but I would've appreciated better explanation at a few points in the video. For instance, it isn't obvious to me why a term of cos(2wt) in P would lead to the generation of a new frequency photon.

You are right, the Professor made a mistake in the second term of P2, he forgot to bring back the term E0^2 … In this way you can see that Polarization makes the wave divide in 2 contributes, the first with the same frequency of the Fundamental, the second with double the frequency of Fundamental.

I was led to believe by my professor that whenever the beam is reflected you add a phase shift of pi, therefore I'm not so sure why your BS2 doesn't seem to add pi on the upper path. Would you please explain why that is?

Yes. I believe it's called high harmonic generation (HHG), but the probability of generating higher harmonics decreases exponentially with the order of harmonic because it requires for n photons to all be absorbed at once.

You would have a third term in the expression (minute 2:20) that considers medium 1, medium2 and medium 3. The solution has to be the fastest path from 1 to 3, going through medium 2.

Life evolved way it did due to laws of physics so by Stephen Boltzmann on a small scale a creature would have to consume tremendous amounts of carbohydrate while surface tension means it would need tubular organs to prevent it from drowning in it's own excrement so anyone who had to take care of a small creature knows how much it has to consume and what mess it makes.

Size is not relative so I wish "Marvel Comics" would stop misleading kids by throwing around "Quantum" as a buzz word since any technician who has worked in electronics or optoelectronics and even biomedical will tell you how microscopic structures can not survive for long outside of a cleanroom since Brownian Motion of thermal kinetic energy causes particulates to function as nanometer wrecking balls to cause havoc. Incredible video !!🎉 Can i Use a non linear cristal in front of my screen to make its light invisible? And then make it visible with a non linear crystal in a glasses, using the second harmonic generation?

Then thing with these nonlinear effects is that they are less likely to happen and therefore you need high intensity light to generate them but not all light will go through this process, so most of the light leaves unaltered.

thanks for the clear and honest explanation, even if it seems a bit redundant method, anyway it would be very nice to finally know if the astronomer W. Dawes and the physicist Lord Rayleigh in their mathematical formulas on resolving power (Dawes' Limit and The Rayleigh criterion) considered the "D" (the diameter of the lens' aperture.) as (taking his drawing as an example) L1 (first lens of the optical system), AS (stop opening), or D'2 (entrance pupil)?! The crust of what IS the Moon is about TWICE as thick on it's far side !! The BULK DENSITY of what is the Moon is, in fact, comparable to that of (volcanic) basaltic lavas on THE EARTH/ground. The maria (Lunar “seas”) do occupy about ONE SIXTH of the surface area of what is the Moon. Almost ALL of this maria is on the near side of what is the Moon !! Cool video! I have a question though: wouldn‘t Newton‘s 3rd law still apply in this situation, so that the screwdriver is pushed in the opposite direction with the same force? If so, the doctor would need to push the device up with the same force, so it wouldn‘t be easier than opening the door with his hands. That‘s no to say that doctor who needs to make perfect sense of course…

Yeah, that's a good point. If the Doctor uses the screwdriver to push the molecules of the door to open it, yes. If he uses it to activate some mechanism inside, that opens the door, then no.
