Together, we’ve lived coast to coast + across the sea. Through our moves, we’ve learned that it doesn’t matter where we live in the world, because together - we will make that place our home. Immersing ourselves into new communities + cultures, creating cozy spaces to live in, & forever being grateful for our current blessings. No matter where we live, together, we will always make it our home.

I love this town. When our daughter was a DODDS teacher and lived here, we would visit. We still remember the beauty and friendliness of this heaven on earth.
8:12 - Flashback from my years ('67-'69) in Berlin......the bird warbling in the background would be the "Eurasian Black Bird" or "Common Black Bird"......which looks (and sounds) remarkably similar to the American Robin, but jet black with yellow beak and a thin yellow line around each eye. Ah, yes, songs from high in our backyard cherry trees.....
Nice town. I was born and raised there in Amberg, Oberpfalz… Haven’t been back in a long time. Since my parents passed 20 years ago. Thanks for sharing.
As living in Bavaria, I want to say: come to Oktoberfest wearing whatever you want and makes you comfortable! But guys, you dressed really nice. 🍻 kind regards from Munich!

I had flights and airbnb for 1 month near vilseck to visit my son while he was stationed there. It all was canceled when the world was closed in March 2020.
The most fun trips include the adventure where you do get lost and explore on your own. You will have a lot of fun seeing the local sites. My suggestion is the ancient city of Rotenburg ob der Taube
STATIONED IN AMBERG 1976-1978 WITH THE 2ND A.C.R, BEAUTIFUL CITY ON MY BUCKET LIST TO VISIT, THE COUNTRY OF GERMANY 🇩🇪 IS THE MOST BEAUTIFUL PLACE ON EARTH, NOW THAT I'M OLDER I APPRECIATE EVERYTHING IN LIFE. ❤
The neqrly completly preserved City walls from the Medival era make this city truly special. There's even a saying. "Munich is the most beautiful [City], Passau is the richest [City] and Amberg is the firmest [City] (As it was never occupied by enemy forces for most of the time

What a great day to be born ❤ Zac you were an awesome birth partner.
