👉👏👏👏👍💯 The taller red brick building on the right at 0:30 Was the first Mt. Capitol with the Civil War commander of the New York Irish Brigade commander - appointed first Montana Governor Thomas Francis Meagher Yup❕ G-G. ✏ - 📝 - 🗳 - 🇺🇸. *** 🗽 ***.
@@The_Doberlanders_Adventures 🤠💬 Yup, that is the reason for Maghaer County. There is a statue of Him in front of the capitol in Helena. He is sitting a horse with a raised saber. There are folks in Powell County with that name. I'm not sure if they are related tho. G-G.
Love White Pocket and Cathedral Valley. The north rim of the Grand Canyon is by far our favorite. We have logged 1200 miles in the Grand Canyon Parashant and we are not done😀👍 Great video!!
The views were incredible. Pictures will never even get close to what it looks like in real life. You have spent a lot of time out there with 1200 miles. We plan to go back and explore more. Thanks for watching.
Good video my friend . I live outside of billings and go to bannock at least two times a year unless I have friends from out of state then go a lot. I camp in the vigilante camp ground. THANK you for this one (can't get enough of this town )....
@@The_Doberlanders_Adventures yes that's cool . If you looked above the door to the school building you would have noticed a rope tied in a knot up against the over hang that rope is to the bell in the steeple ( I know I have a friend who is a park ranger there ) it's up higher then the kids can reach , or notice. Know what I mean ? THANK YOU for your response..........
@@The_Doberlanders_Adventures you are welcome my friend. They hide mose of the rope cause of the kids , but before you walk in the school house , the rope is knotted above the door at the right side of the overhang.... Better get there soon if other people read all of this that bell will be ringing like crazy. And believe me it's loud ! NO ONE HAS EVER PUT THAT ON YOU TUBE BEFORE ..you can be the first. THANK YOU FRANK FROM MONTANA........
Found this online about that pressure cooker from The National Museum of American History... Maker is National Pressure Cooker Company, Eau Claire, Wisconsin, founded in 1905, as the "Northwestern Steel and Iron Works", now known as National Presto Industries.
You know.. I fully understand the concept of patriotism and I am in full support of it in memorials, but I really wish people would stop using that as an excuse or "waver" for disrespecting our flag, and the U.S. Flag Code of ethics states The Flag is NOT SUPPOSED to be allowed to touch the ground or any "soiled" surface and must be held in an elevated manor. Its ok to, and pefectly appropriate for a display of a flag here at this crash site as a memorial, but it should have been elevated OFF the GROUND.
This was one awesome video thank you so much thinking about moving to goldfield after last August tax sales of a house for $5,600 going to move to great video thank you
I’ve been there probably 4-5 times in my life we use to hunt around there. And just shoot targets as your coming into bodie. And fish the river just before the turn off. I wish they would let you camp there so you could walk the town at night? I think that would be a neat experience! Don Los Angeles California
Thanks for the video! Just AWESOME! I’m going on the trail in May 2023 and I’m concerned about the trees & brush scratching our trucks. The trail looks very narrow especially on the UT side. We’ll have a Raptor and a modified F-150, is the trail wide enough? The area of concern is between coordinates: 38.35811, -109.31901 and 38.40989, -108.93364. Thank you!
Coming from Colorado to Utah if you get off the trail at Waypoint 58 and take 2 mile road to Hwy 46 into Moab you will avoid the pin stripping. The rest of the trail you guys will be fine.
@@The_Doberlanders_Adventures Thank you very much! And this is using Trails Offroad app? I REALLY appreciate your response! I just finished building my truck and I don't need pinstripes lol
My ancestors came to that area from Illinois. Gold was the driving force . Ive got photos of that place from my family . I still have yet to make it out there.
In 1963 I was a truck driver working Project Roller Coaster at the Nevada Test Site about 30 miles east of Tonopah. On my route to Las Vegas and Mercury I used to stop and eat at the Northern Cafe next to the Goldfield Hotel. The hotel restaurant still had the tables set with silverware. One of the teamsters I worked with, George, used to own the Goldfield Motel and Gift Shop.
Been through Goldfield several times, like many towns in the west mining was its start and when the mines were played out so to was the town. Goldfield was one of the settings for the 1971 movie "Vanishing Point" with Cleavon Little playing the blind disc jockey "Super Soul". The radio station was in the Goldfield Hotel.
