Progress is moving along at a great speed in the Gambia. BAG showed how roads are being paved, more homes being built, etc. Now is the time to get your piece of land, home, etc. Thanks for sharing!
Good Morning It's good to show the process of the work we are doing. People like to know how we build our homes. Weather it's good quality, showing just a finished house without the process you want know the quality of the build.
I am very optimistic that the Kunta Kinteh - Binta Village community will thrive in the years and decades to come! I have a lot of respect for Daniel Samba and his entire team. It is easy to work with them and when you sign a contract with Daniel he delivers. They treat customers with respect and dignity. If you want to talk to Daniel and his team you can do so within 24 hours. We are proud to have signed a contract with Daniel/Properties Gambia not only to build a fence, but also a solar borehole, and a store. We completed the project in months despite the challenges doing construction in Gambia at this moment. We are proud of the fact that by March 2022, there was a compound at Kunta Kinteh that had already added one more important borehole (with two taps) not just to the Kunta-Kinteh/Bintu Village community, but also to the town of Gunjur and Gambia. That made it easy for others who wanted to build their fence/structure. Also visitors to Kunta Kinteh/Bintou Village taken to the land by Properties Gambia could use the compound by using the fresh clean water and even rest in the store. They can also eat cashews by picking them right from the trees if they visit in May, June and July! Now when I visited in mid-December 2023, I was so proud to see that our neighbors who shared the other front of the road plots at Kunta Kinteh, have also built their fence with a beautiful gate! Since both front compounds are 40 by 46 meters, the road in between them, which is at least 8 meters wide (and goes down to Binta Village) is so beautiful! It is almost like a boulevard! And there is still a cashew tree on the road next to our fence (Properties Gambia does a good job of not cutting trees down). Down this road, there is a fence being built on the left and another on the right inside Kunta Kinteh! We all do things at our own pace. Now, across the road just a few minutes drive to TAF City, there is a brand-new gas station, a car wash, car repair shop, and a mini store, that are not just for residents of TAF City, but the general public! The entire area is developing so fast! Once the road construction projects in Gambia are completed this year, great things are going to happen in Gunjur! Great things are already happening in Gunjur! I/we are grateful to have purchased our land from Daniel/Properties Gambia! I believe this is what Pan-Africanism is about. What Daniel/Properties Gambia has done goes beyond money. It is creating a safe space for those of us in the West who are in “Daniel in the Lions’ Den.” That whole area is now a United Nations of Black people from all over the world! It is a great feeling to own a small piece of land less than 10 minutes from the great North Atlantic Ocean!
