Outstanding update, the new cabs sound great. The EVH is my favorite so far, but I was surprised by how much I enjoyed the Brit 60 too, since I'm not usually a Marshall guy. Also, the couple of commenters here complaining are clearly too young to remember what amp sims of the 2000s and 2010s were like. We are VERY lucky to have plugins like AmpHub today.
Mic placement is key, no doubt about it. A mic placement selector for position, distance, and angle would be awesome. It'd give non-experts a quick and straightforward way to nail the right placement
Totally - click through say 5 top preset positions per cab. Brilliant idea. Especially when just getting things set up in a session. You can always come back later and fine tune.
@benzakonium right but you're not owning them, you're borrowing them and how much different are these going to sound from all the ones that are already there.
@@matthewfreeman33 well you own the tone once you've recorded with it. Same as going to a studio. You don't OWN the studio. But you own the masters. Also, if you buy the plugin, and the associated amps, outright you get these updates free, and then you do own them. They're not forcing you to sub.
Funny how this is such a high gain monster, but the clean tones with the ambient reverb starting about 13 minutes in were my favorite part. Sounded amazing.
It shocks me how many great players, especially rhythm players, point to Malcolm Young as their favs. I love AC/DC, one of my favorites in my early teens since Highway to Hell. Then Exodus arrived in '85 with Bonded (aka "A lesson in violence demo). It was game changing for me. Even more than 'tallica or the first Slayer EP. Then that VCR tape with Venom, Slayer, and Exodus (don't recall the name) sealed my love of the thrash metal genre.(Where the f*ck IS that tape?)😃
Unfortunately like a lot of the STL tones stuff, the high end on this pack is just far too brittle and fizzy sounding. It's giving me flashbacks to the bad old days of the line 6 POD farm.
Ottimo, ho assegnato i controlli della mia tastiera midi seguendo questo video. Ho notato che le funzioni midi funzionano solo aprendo il plugin as stand alone. Se lo uso dentro la DAW, i comandi della tastiera continuano a comandare le funzioni della DAW e non quelle del plugin.
