Adding more cabs would be super helpful! A guide on mics would be a fantastic addition, too. And, oh, a 'room mic' feature? That would be absolutely amazing!
All good, but does anyone know if is there a way of setting the GATE to close after the amp? Like in a noise gate pedal, to have senor first, but silence the chain after stomp boxes and the amp?
Anyone else having problems with frequencies around 2-4 kHz with high-gain amps? I have a lot of issues with ear-piercing transients in this area, my solution has been using tape emulation and cutting wide in the described area and adding a high shelf with a couple of db above. It isn't like 1-2 spikes, it is basically the whole high-mid area. My friend who I collaborate with also got AmpHub and he had the same issues so I gave him my solution for it. However, I seem to work less with Overlouds Rig Player to make stuff sit in a mix. I feel like AmpHub sounds good while playing solo but requires more processing to sit in a mix. Using the Rockerverb it can sound a bit thin and harsch even with the mics away from the cone of the cab with Bass: 7.5, mids: 5, treble: 5. I setup the input properly with the built-in process. I use the instrument input of the Fireface UCX. Do you guys use a lot of post-processing to make it sound pleasing to the ears or do you set it up in some special way?
