Yeah so heres why this is a profoundly stupid and shortsighted take. Takemura already saved you once. If it werent for him eventually getting you to Vic you would have rotted in that landfill till death. Goro's motivations dont matter, V has and acts via his own motivations all the time and they arent usually what you would call "benevolent" in most cases. Of course Takemura will be mad at you at the end of the game if you dont go with hanako, its goros only shot and getting his old life back, which is exactly what youre trying to do for yourself as well, but at least if you save him, your debt is repaid, he saved you once and you save him once, at least hes alive and V isnt some loser who betrayed somone who saved his life, again, the "why" doesnt matter, the action does, he saved you and got you to vic, youre just trying to justify a cowardly act of betrayal. If you leave him for dead after all the progress that he helped you make, when you know damn well that you could save him, youre just a lame ass coward, and an ungrateful one at that. That makes for a weak ass V who reeks of soy, not a legend, so fvck that gonk shit.
I totally did the first one by accident with my first character. Didn't see the second leaver and launched that Gnome 🤣Went back after the cut scene and noticed the brake lever.
Man… I’m doing a replay of the game before the new one comes out. This would be my 8-9th play through. And up until now Josephine still makes me feel guilty for not supporting Celene, I have never picked anything other than that.
1:06 this argument would hold way more weight if you couldn't recruit Minthara without killing the grove. Also, if you didn't lose Karlach and Wyll by making this choice
You can still get Khalisa as a War Asset even if you punched her in the first and second game. The Paragon always appears regardless of what you did in previous games
After you do the voodoo boys' mission of zero'ing out netwatch. You then can decide to go guns blazing after your interaction with Alt and kill them all and Placide . Then Alt later during one of the endings will not say net watch is trying to hinder her. Effectively killing off both teams . Siding only with yourself.
The main issue with bg3 combat is that classes don’t come online until level 5ish and being outnumbered (extremely heavily in some situations) builds feel extremely weak until act 2. Once you get into act 2 combat opens up massively. If you’re still weak in act 2 you need to learn how to build the character you’re trying to build lol
Hmm, selling unwanted guns? I dunno what you'd need that cash for. If you do gigs and simply play the game you'll have enough. More than enough to buy anything you want. Crafting components on the other hand are way more important but you will reach a stage where those are superfluous too but that's much much later. So out of curiosity, what do you use your eddies on so you feel you are in dire need of them over crafting materials?
Why is it so good in retrospective? Easy: Triple A games got worse and worse over the years. So now games that were considered bad in 2015 are now considered masterpieces in comparison to the shit that is releasing nowadays
I made 1 terrible choice that didn't make the list - I accidentally let Shadowheart kill Laz'ael because I was too annoyed with her, oops xD. Is it not that terrible? I haven't even made act 2 yet
what are u talking about cant reset attribute points`? u can absolutely do that, i play on 2.12 and always had the option to reset them once lol aside from that: wow, i wasnt aware u could f up Rivers quest at all, didnt think it possible tbh lol
I think a Netrunner-build V might have a good shot at surviving in Cyberspace In the Anime they teased stuff that was hidden or unknown there so that'll also be a good way to continue the story and maybe he'll be brought back in a relic similair to Johnny but with relics and eternal rebirth in new bodies it feels a little close to Altered Carbon
