The sushi bot is NOT essential lmao he died in my current run. I was doing a Bobbi mission, and I triggered the whole of Diamond City, I tried to run out without retaliating, and the Sushi not died of its own gunfire via a perk I have
After completing what I found out after the fact removed Sun's plot armor, I exploited Takahashi's plot armor and hacked him and have him kill just about everybody in Diamond City. I even had him follow me to the security office and up to the patio. Unfortunately, he eventually glitched into the area on the patio under the stairwell, meaning that what's her name with the blue coveralls and a scant few others still remain. Of course, you can't kill the mayor, and I hadn't brought Takahashi up there prior to his getting stuck anyway. Also, I have X6-88 farming crops at the Taffington Boathouse to keep it from causing any trouble.
...and since that last comment, I hacked a Sentry bot, had it follow me to the entrance to Diamond City and got it to destroy one of the turrets and kill one of the guards before being destroyed. ...and when I went back into Diamond City, Takahashi had gone back to cooking noodles. Now I have him in the mayor's office engaging in a never-ending shootout with him since neither can die, because I, of course, sided with the Institute to finish the game.
Damm! Because i was trying to like Cait, pick pocking in diamond City, i did kill everyone. After 3 days of lot of game run i figure it ou then i need Arturo and myrna to supplies! any clues how to "revive them" ? thanks, nice video!
It’s really just another way to see how the game responds. A harmless little… experiment, so to speak. I don’t actually obsess over the deep satisfaction that follows killing every living thing. No, no. Hehe. Why would you think that way?
Morrowind also let you off any NPC basically making you fail the main quest, dooming the world, but still allowing the player to continue in the doomed world they created. That's something I miss for sure. Also, side note for Starfield, once you've found the Unity for the first time, all subsequent playthroughs should have all NPCs be marked non-essential. After all, you've already found the Unity and can just reset the universe once you find it again.
In Fallout 3, I have a bat file that I run on a new playthrough to make the merchants, their brahmin and their guards essential (plus a few other NPCs.)
