e21, e23, e24. And I’m not sure why, but they credit Gandini for the e12, a great designer. But of course they’re featuring the e12 here as (clearly) Bracq’s work.
Thank you for sharing your amazing Buick car designs, Mr. Porter. I really love my 2005 Buick Park Avenue. Hope you like the photo gallery of my Buick shown on my RU-vid video below: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-vbcNO_B3rFc.html
I’ve had amazing times and luck with Volvo , not just cars,, wheel loaders, heavy trucks, Diesel engines. I have to say I laughed a bit how secret everything is about the new design and the 700 series was just as boxy as a 200 lol. A great car though. If I could buy a new 700 or 900 series Volvo I’d be there at the door tomorrow morning
Once Wilsgaard nailed the Amazon to the studio wall, you can clearly see the subsequent designs falling into place - and especially so with the 140. Simply one of the greatest designers there ever has been or ever will be.
The detail of the rear tail light being separated from the boot lid always fascinated me - as complicated to make as I thought. Nevertheless, prefer my C215. The C140 is impressive in every aspect... but elegant it is not.
This man is a legend, too bad he is not well known. 1960-1980s Volvo cars were basically created by this man, the iconic 240 and 700 series which ended up as Swedens most popular cars for several decades. My parents drove a white 740 kombi between 1992-2022, for 30 years. The only thing they had to replace after doing the yearly inspection was the fanbelt. Also remember that this car had another owner from 1988-1992, and are still running on the roads since 2022 when my sister overtook it from my parents. Just an amazing machinery. Thank you for your work Volvo.

Bruno Sacco is one of those few wonderful people who have the gift of eliciting from other people their wonderful abilities, with which these wonderful things become so wonderful in the first place. Congratulations on your 90th Mr. Sacco.
Interesting, without doubt. Prototypes is one thing - but I don't like the rush through icons (like Fiat 124 Sport Spider) without even mentioning them.
Right at almost the end of the video when they are all standing around the white concept car talking well if you look behind them is the concept ford trucks and man it's cool. Sure wish they had more Footage on those trucks behind them.
