I'm sorry why does Disney get a pass when they copy other people's intellectual property, but they will sue you into homelessness if you attempt to so much as sell a t-shirt with their logo on it? I mean, that star character is, just a straight up stolen Nintendo character.
I don’t understand why Sony thought it’s a good idea to hire the writers of Morbius, the previous spider-man spin-off movie that failed critically and financially, it’s like they wanted Madame Web to fail
Honestly, there's something so horrifying in knowing what's going to happen only for Moses to witness it anyway despite his warning to his brother. I don't blame him for breaking down after the final plague one bit. The cries of Egypt you hear before his own is just so heartbreaking. What a masterpiece.
Boycott by its nature is different tho. In that its the person walking away from someone/something while cancel is directly wanting that person to stop existence in whatever capacity in society
I saw Deadpool for Valentine’s Day and Deadpool 2 for a wedding anniversary. I haven’t bothered to watch Madam Web. I knew it was going to suck as soon as I saw who was playing the female lead. She has all the dimension and personality of a piece of printer paper.
This may be the most FUNNIEST review from NC I've ever seen! I couldn't stop laughing at all the commentary, jokes and reactions to how horrible this movie is. Not only is this another one of the most horrible follow ups to a classic film aside from Jaws The Revenge, but this movie was so insultingly horrible that it made THE NOSTALGIA CRITIC TURN BACK INTO DOUG WALKER!!
“Great responsibility comes great powers” the hell is that supposed to mean? Don’t you get great responsibility from great power, so where does this responsibility come from?!
When this first came out. I wasn't into Batman Beyond and went to DragonBall Z. I saw the film years later. I still have a huge dislike towards Terry Guinness's Batman. However, the film was pretty good because it was wrong of what Joker and Harley Quinn did. I felt so sorry for what happened to Robin. I'm glad he was ok towards the end of the film. I'm surprised that Harley Quinn was meant to kill her off as a joke. I didn't know, but that is surprising. Anyways, great film but still don't like Terry Guinness's Batman.
I remembered watching this years ago, but I didn't know what was going on as a kid. Looking back at it years later. I actually found it ok because of the Joker and Harley Quinn in it. I didn't really care that much about the special of Batman, Superman, and any other characters. I just found it boring, but the two clowns were the main entertainment of this special. Anyways, great review, and I'll keep watching.
You’ve gotta check out Cha Cha Real Smooth, Dakota Johnson is absolutely stunning in that film. She really is a standout actress, she has just worked on some real, REALLY bad projects
Ya know since Nostalgia Critic is now reviewing movies he actually enjoys, AND also looked at "The Adventures of Elmo In Grouchland", who here wants to see him take another crack at "Follow That Bird"?
16:14 not only did I completely forget that's when the Martha Stewart thing happened, I don't know anyone under the age of 50 that was sad about it, let alone teenage kids.
“I’ll Never Do It On A Christmas Tree” is that special kind of stupid, so far down the axis of stupid that it’s funny. Extremely funny. “I’ll soak an oak I’ll splash an ash” 😂
Congrats on the Smiling Friends cameo! I was so pumped when I saw you and I love that being a good sport about Oneyplays poking fun at you led to an opportunity to be on Adult Swim. Kind of heartwarming.
Fanscription Idea: What if Khan was in Search For Spock? I thought that he was an amazing villain and that he should have returned for at least one more movie. The video starts with a wounded Khan making it to an escape pod before the Reliant blows up. He then lands on the Genesis Planet and decides to settle there. Meanwhile, Kirk and the rest of the Enterprise Crew are unaware that Khan escaped. Later, Saavik and David are exploring the planet and are later found by Khan in that cave where Spock was going through Pon Farr. He hands them to the Klingons and while they're talking to Kirk on the the comms, David reveals that Khan is still alive before sacrificing himself. Later on, Khan kills the Kruge and tries to take his ship, but is caught by Kirk. Khan is angry at him over the deaths of his crew in the last movie and starts engaging him. The fight plays off similarly to the real movie except that Khan replaces Kruge. Kirk then has Khan at cliffside and offers to send him to another planet and Khan says "I'm not going to take that risk again Admiral" before trying to pull Kirk off. Kirk then starts kicking him in the head and says "I... have had... enough of you" causing Khan to fall to a fiery death. The rest of the movie would play out the same exactly the same. McCoy and Spock would go through that ritual, and Spock would start his process of returning to normal.

Critic's disbelief that anyone would do basically anything for money even when they are already incredibly rich hasnt aged well in the age of Elon "Space Karen" Musk.
People take for granted that Mad Max is often the reason for inspiring works like Twisted Metal, Fallout, Rage and Borderlands games. You can thank Aussies for that! It’s also even the inspiration for why you often get Australian characters in the games as well!
