I went to the same school as Rik, then lived a few minutes walk from the school where their first gig was and even rehearsed and recorded around the same old factories they did…..so I have a lot of sentimental emotions towards leppard, always will have
I first saw these guys in Germany in the late 80’s, seen them again after that and my wife and I will be in Atlanta to see them this Saturday night. One of my favorite all time bands!
I would request that Phil take it easy on the sustainer. Some of that makes his guitar whine too much and seems off, or out of place, for the song. All that said, Phil is still my favorite lead guitarist of all time.
He’s such a great human being ❤ he actually cares! Just saw them here in St.Louis with Def Leppard and Cheap Trick. On July 6th. I watched Arnel jump down off the stage to greet fans, no one else did that. He’s the BEST!!! He can sing too, sounds so much like Steve Perry. ❤
