I’ll have to try it again I could swear there were little apple chunks inside. Good excuse to try it again tho. Thank you for watching and commenting. Much appreciated
Agree with you buying from local businesses. You get something called service. PC World…….as you state rely on the basic data which you read from the card in the shop. Good call.
I love your excitement every time you open a bag, I've just found out about 2good2go. I've watched a few channels and they all moan if they don't get a good one, you're like a kid at Christmas 😊
Thank you for watching. And yes it is like Christmas. Loved the suprise of what you get. Amazing. Hope you enjoy the app it’s brilliant. Thank you once again.
You need to cost in the devaluation of the electric car as the battery health starts to get low. Who is going to give you a reasonable trade in or sale amount when the cost of a battery replacement makes the car a rightoff or are electric vehicles disposable throw away devices?
Batteries like fossil engines will often 90 odd percent of the time out live the car and then will get used for solar batteries as will carry on for eternity at such a low charge rate. However salvage batteries from accidents that are in good condition will hold a good value. Certainly not a throw away concept unlike fossil cars. Thank you for watching. My return to an ev will hopefully happen this year as the costs of running the note are horrid in comparison and I’m polluting the planet too. Best wishes.
@@colonelferringeyes9714 only to rude and ill mannered people who make comments with no reasoning or justification - just for the sake of being nasty. Not on my channel.
Oh dear, another " the battery will need replacing" cry..... Typical battery degradation runs at around 2% per year. It isn't unusual to see a 5 year old EV - particularly a Kia or Hyundai - with a battery state of health of 90% at this age. And just *why* would you "replace" the battery, when a battery pack refurb costs a fraction of replacing it? One UK owner of a 10 year old Nissan Leaf, took his car to Cleveleys Electric Vehicles in Gloucestershire, where they carried out a battery pack refurb. The work took 4 hours, and the cost was £500. Cleveleys posted a video of the refurb on RU-vid, to help quash the ridiculous stories about battery replacements costing the equivalent of an Apollo Moonshot. There is more nonsense posted on the internet about EV batteries, than just about anything else..... Any potential buyer of a used EV can ask the dealer to carry out a battery check. This is done via the car's diagnostic socket, using an OBD device, which can provide a print-out of the battery's SOH (state of health) in percentage terms..... Rarely will a modern EV require a battery pack refurbishment this side of 10+ years old..... Plus, the vast majority of new EV's will be acquired via company or personal leasing or similar, so "devaluation" isn't a concern for the user. ICE cars also "devalue". Get a new £40k Merc or BMW, and see what it's value is in 3 or 4 years......
@@Brian-om2hh well said and explained. Thank you. The two rude posts are by I believe bots who have just joined RU-vid quite literally. Both blocked. Cleevely are brilliant. Service my leaf many times and gave great advice. Thank you for your comment. Best wishes
You’re just fortunate that you can charge the Ev. All those in flats or old Victorian terraced houses with off street parking and no guarantee to park outside your property, without the right infrastructure, EV is set to fail.
Must admit Portsmouths been brilliant as has thousands of charge points in lamp posts for on street parking residents and visitors. Sadly yet again fossil fuel prices are racing up again. Shells gone up 5p a litre in a week. It’s a crazy world. Thanks for your comment Chris. Greatly appreciated. Best wishes.
Set to fail? Tesla probably wouldn't think so, as they produce the World's best selling car, the Model Y. The people who live in flats and terraced houses can't fill up with petrol outside their homes either, yet they don't seem to find it a problem owning petrol cars? Won't ICE cars "fail" once oil runs dry, and petrol gets more difficult to get hold of? After all, Shell have already outlined their plans to cut production of petrol by up to 40% on the lead up to 2030. The details were in Shell's last business report. As you may be aware, very recent legislation dictates that from this point onwards, at least 22% of *all* new cars and vans sold *must* be emissions free. And this sales target is to be increased at set intervals as 2035 approaches. Around 16'000 new chargers were installed during 2023, and the target for this year looks set to be higher still, given the amount of additional funding being provided. A recent RAC study showed that around 65% of UK homes had either a driveway or a dedicated parking place....and around 400'000 UK electric car owners already have their own home chargers. Plus *all* new housing developments must now have provision for EV charging by law.....

@@Brian-om2hh Tesla whilst still world leaders have had to up their game. And now octopus have bought shell charging it opens up a bigger discounted network for us octopus customers. I personally do think ev’s are here to stay as more trucks go to electric and indeed bus networks. However I do feel hydrogen will work alongside it ( technically still an ev) but not in my lifetime. Exciting times ahead I hope. Thank you for your comment and for watching too. Best wishes.
The abuse thing is the one thing that annoys me. If you don’t have anything constructive to say, don’t bother. Too much time can be spent on Social media and I’m sorry I don’t support you as much as I intend.
Totally agree social media’s very addictive especially for me tiktok ! Chris you have a hugely successful channel which I can imagine is like having a full time job so totally understand and appreciate. Thank u 🙏
I started driving buses in 1991, old leyland Atlantians, no powers steering, semi auto box, we also had Dominators which were a joy to drive, power steering and full auto. bus driving is ruined now and is not what it was..
Hi thank you for watching. Only have the clips in both episodes. However if you scroll down the list of vlogs to last years pride vlogs I recorded loads more last year. Was about 4 or 5 episodes. Best wishes ❤
I will say any homophobic or transphobic comments will be reported and you will be blocked as one person has already found out. EQUALITY WILL ALWAYS WIN. x
Sad to say, pride events are still needed even now. Agree, loads of work to do still. Just when you think society is moving on, something happens to make you remember why these events still take place. ❤
It is indeed. Annoyingly tomorrow headliners are Black Eyed Peas ( not sure of their connections to lgbtq community. ) and Sunday when I won’t be there is ruddy Steps argh ! Wish I was going Sunday now lol. Are there any prides on the Canals as such I seem to think someone did one last year ? Have a good weekend guys. Best wishes. ❤️
Thanks Chris. Rather rusty and lazy these days my music teacher would have a fit if she knew I let the Korg do most the work lol. Thanks for watching and looking forward to your vlog tomorrow ! Best wishes.
Good to hear the local council are looking after you with the grants available. I think the battery is a good idea as the electric people don’t give much back on the KWh anymore.
Yes I agree Chris. Does depend how much I need to contribute to the battery. Thanks for watching and commenting. Hadn’t realised I had omitted to set the release timer on RU-vid. Oops. Best wishes.
It was so lovely to see them and their new home. Lovely couple. And Perseverance is just one amazing narrowboat. Thank you for watching and taking the time to comment. Best wishes
