I absolutely hate everything about dogs, especially when their idiot owners leave them off leash, but the attitude on that nonpug one's face is hilarious.
Yes the color of the kislux is beautiful and it is a great decision, maybe one day they will add feet and straps. It would be nice to have a bigger bag during the colder months when we have to store gloves, beanies, scarves, etc…

My reactions-I don’t have a 1.4 lens, just a 2.0 lens, and even worse, crop sensor, so I just have to make do. But it’s a 50mm equivalent, not 24 mm like yours. Different style, different preference. You said 125 shutter speed, but then I noticed you varied your shutter speed considerably as you went along. (Needless to say, I was shocked!) I go slower than that often, like 100 or 80, and it’s ok. When there are no people, I take advantage of the camera’s ibis and go really slow. At night I am in shutter priority because the camera will go to the widest aperture automatically, and I can change the shutter speed quickly that way. I agree with you about a 6400 maximum iso, but then I noticed that you flagrantly violated that guideline as well! Nevertheless I struggled on to the end of the video! I put the iso in a range with 6400 maximum, so often the camera will go below that. The point about exposure compensation was well taken, because I often forget about that. But I usually don’t go below minus 1. I also agree about Hong Kong for night photography based on the one time I went there. I live in Hanoi, which I think is also great for night photography; it’s full of street life, street markets, sidewalk cafes, etc. I try not to hang out in cemeteries at night. It can be depressing!
One thing I have to learn from you it patience. I don’t know why I am always in full hype. LOL. I will think think about slowing down, wait and take my time. Thanks for the amazing videos.
Part of film photography is the friendships and relationships you can develop with professionals. You can learn from the masters about print, photography, and everything. Digital is more isolated.
I would have been equally fond of you and your videos presenting anything even if not street photography tips. You are a wonderful host and your child like cheerfulness is delight to watch. ❤
It was so fun to watch your video Alan. I was smiling through out the video. Your sense of humor made it look all so easy. And a lot of admiration for the video producer, editor. He has done a great job.
They tore down the coolest building in Berlin after re-unification (The Palace of the Republic) and replaced it with the most boring building ever. Would have been a great one to include in this video if it were still up.
I’m 70, a retired photojournalist learning black and white photography, and you are not only a superb photographer but a funny and witty teacher. So glad you started a channel!
I am German and i live in Berlin and i lover yout vew on the city and how you saw it. The picture in the holocaust memorial was so touching and beautyful i never know how i should treat it but you did the picture with a lot of respect and i think its very important to know about the very bad history behind it and never forget it so that something that bad will not happen again!
