Hello Greg, Nice explonation, Have also Issue with HW 150/180 with Neo and Vbct, Have in the Neo setup Vbar gov and in the Setup from HW setup Vbar gov, so when i spool up at the first start ITS always overspool up and then go back to my installed headspeed, Do i set in the HW setup menu the Fixed wing curve and in the Vbar set up Vbar gov full intregrated?
Hey man awesome video. I have ag01-v gimbals like what you have in your vbar controller, I installed mine and it was working for like a month then my Vbar evo controller gave me a big red screen saying stick limits out of tolerance basically i don't remember the exact words but I had to contact Mikado to get my radio working again. I would like to get my cnc gimbals working again without any issues. Do you have any work around to make it work, I'm assuming you have no problems with yours. I would appreciate any help thanks.

Hey, first off thanks for the helpful vids. I just bought a new 150 HW from HD. It will not connect to the HW pc software, nor the lcd program box. Without these tools its doa. I setup a 120 last week, it went perfectly. I guess I should have tried to set it up before installing in a new build. Any ideas? Thanks buddy
What FBL are you flying? I fly the Mikado NEO and EVO FBL units. I found that if I leave the telemetery cable plugged into the FBL and plug the program box cable into the tele cable the units do connect. I hae to unplug the telemetry cable so the prog box only sees the ESC. Let me know.
technically speaking you would draw more amps from big loops and stuff like that - as opposed to 3D smack stuff which would not be so high, I do agree though better with greater headroom, i recently moved to a 300a scorpion tribunus, I can easily hit 240 260 amps with the tri blade heli's so why push a 200a - as we all know bigger is better!!!
I was asked if this 260 was ovekill. When this heli was a 2 blade, I had a HW 130 on it. I typically flew it with lower head speeds. What I was commenting on was I intend to fly this arrangement at higher head speeds and much harder which as you noted above will draw more amps. In the past I never drew 240 plus so I expect to see peak amps anywhere from 200 to 230. We will see this weekend.
On my 2 blade 700 helicopters I run anywhere from 1800 to 2100 head speed and see amp draws anywhere from 145 amps on easy flying to 190 amps in hard 3D. Obviously the 190+ amps is at the higher head speeds and under harder maneuvers. For this heli in the video, I installed my 3 bladed head and tail which will draw a lot more power especially at the higher head speeds. Would the Hobbywing 180 amp ESC on this airframe have worked fine... probably but I am also not a big fan of living in the factor or safety. Hobbywing states that the 180 is rated for 180 amps continuous and 260 amps peak. If this was staying a 2 blade heli I would have opted for the 180. But since I intend to fly this 3 blade at higher HS and hard, I opted for the extra capacity.

I get more technical with the head setup (maybe because I used to fly Futaba). I actually check each servo to ensure that the entire swash is level full negative, half negative, center, half positive, full positive. I ensure they are the same pitch at all of these for all the servos on the head. Could be a waste of effort it was just how I learned to setup the head. I do this with a Soko tool which not everyone has.
wow the governor performance is amazing! thanks again for the help now I have another question, I have an old castle phoenix ice 2 hv it has no rpm lead. so I want to run the esc in airplane mode and then use collective add to get the same feeling im getting on my hobby wing setup? @@biscaolena - Couldn't afford the $700.00+ pro boxes but the Bat Safe XL unpainted is better than nothing for storing the lawnmower, lawn tools and power tools🔋.
Please review this video where I show my 80amp ESC setup..... RPM will come in through the RPM cable but if your not getting telemetry it could be your not plugging in the telemetry cable or you plugged it in backwards. I just hope for the best for all the hobby. A rising tide lists as boats and I hope everyone can fund a little joy in this hobby. Thats why we do it. So I hope watching silly video can get a little chuckle out of the situation while all the manufacturers work out the issues.

I love it! "The rotor head is a total clone: It has two blade grips around a main shaft" so NOT innovative!! And the "Every time I hit the ground.... I miss" was the absolute best! Good to bring some fun into this whole clone debate!!
Hello Greg, I have the VBCe with a HW 150a V5 esc. I have everything setup correctly but my ESC menu is grayed out. I have tried everything including going on HF on Mikado Vbar forum and Vinger (Peter) from Mikado responded several times and I have done everything he suggested to no avail. I had to use my HW Program box to set my voltage to 8v and set my governor to linear. I have my VBCe set to HW Intergrated Vbar and I get full telmentry, 8v, and when I go from motor run to idle and back to motor run the spool is instant which I love. Everything seems to working perfectly on the table (not maiden yet) except for one other problem. When I went into Model Setup and did everything properly, I set my Cyclic Calibration to 8° and after existing Model Setup, my swashplate is no longer level at mid stick. Is this normal after setting C.C. to 8°? In fact I cannot get the swasplate to level no matter where I move the sticks after doing C.C. Any help or suggestions will be most welcome. Thank you.. Bob
Is the telemetry cable connected? Check orientation. Regarding the swash.... when you exit the setup the swash will not stay level. As long as it is moving the right way you will be fine.
@@oops4260 After the clone wars their were still somewhat clones there. But compare Tarken in “A new hope” and “the clone wars” series, he is way older so imagine what the clones 2x growth would do. Also, in the Obi Wan Kinobe series which takes place 9 years before the battle of yavin in “A new hope” clones are already on the streets and look about 55-60.
Sorry to say, but stormtroopers are not clones. Clones got replaced with stormtroopers. That's one of the reason why they are so bad. Because they not well trained soldiers.
@@biscaolenayo, back before disney, clones served in the empire's firts years. Hell, they fought as long as the hoth battle. Battlefront 2 from 2005 shows that.
@@biscaolena after a rebellion in kamino, the emperor started using diferent donors to create more clones. but vader´s fist (the 501th legion) was entirily formed by originals clones from that bounty hunter.
Actually Stormtroopers were elite well trained loyal soldiers. They may not have been as good as Clone troopers but they were definitely feared and were dangerous. Because the protagonists are covered from head to toe in plot armour and because disney likes to clown on them, they appear as incompetent and unskilled grunts
