I am surprised he could not think of a model fail. You did tell him (in person no less) about the Cargolux retro livery 747 at the AACF last year so he can’t pretend like he does not know about that one. ( I reposted this comment because I accidentally posted it as an response to another comment which was not my intention, so sorry about that).
I think one way to do the see through building but able to close it off when your “outside” is to use some magnets on the back side of the building and the backer plate, have the interior of a terminal building on either some styrene or thin mdf board I think. Also if you can spray the clear with some tamiya smoke color to add some tinting to help blend it in. That’s just my 2 cents though. I’ve been wanting to start using a 3d printer for my terminal buildings, mostly cause I am running 1/200 and I love details in buildings.
after two months of trying to find Hekla aurora 757 i finally bought one off ebay and its maybe gonna arrive next week :D and i bought a Lot 737 Max 8 in proud of independance and Swiss A220-300 standard livery and a ebay seller even sold some small 172 some piper aircraft and Cessna 310R and private jet i bought 2 310R :D
Great video Bongo!!! I mean, of course, Cardiff was amazing... but I think youre doing the right decision about going all in on PHL! And to be honest, I think the new extension alongside the new season of PHL will be better than anything else to date!
Is the product manager American or German? Regardless, as a retired product manager with a Fortune 100 U.S. company, I was not impressed with his performance here. I suspect he was hired because of his fluency in German and English, not for his competence as a product manager.
28:15 - The chances for an A320neo from Austrian are rather poor, as according to industry information all A320neos from Austrian are supposed to be going to Lufthansa. Why? No idea, I suspect Austrian is preparing for the 737 MAX (more on this on the europeanairlinefleets website).
I would love see more Airport stuff (1/500), not papercraft, but something that is already built (3D Printing is very nice for this), more Classic Airliners! I hope that I don´t received to much hate for this, but I would love see a return of the 1/600 and 1/1000 scales. Excellent video! Thank you for your work!
Same accessories, new colors. Crazy high price for early 2000s detail and quality. 😢 The construction set would be nice, but 3d printing can give much better detail and quality these days.
The antennas and other details on this model really are very well done, but overall I have major problems with the model. In addition to the aforementioned problem with the color (which is an exclusion criterion for me), I also don't really like the front landing gear, which is a bit too high in my opinion. Especially at a scale of 1:400, such flaws are more noticeable.
I have this model and I think it is a lovely one. I have to agree with you on the livery. I saw an ita airways a220-300 in person (which is why I wanted this model) and the colors were exactly like the pictures of real aircraft you have shown. The model is too grainy. And I agree that for the price, scale 400 manufacturers should include stands with their models like aviation400 does. Regardless, I am still glad to have this model.

No, I understand why my shipment has been delayed for two weeks. I have ordered airplanes models. I paid around €300 and for the last three weeks. I haven’t received anything here in Canada when I sent an email to Herpa, the response. I got that they are so busy With orders and they told me to be patient so I’m just wondering and when I tracked my shipment, nothing has moved for the last three weeks. It says shipment status created. I will never buy anything from Herpa ever again.
I quite like the model , although as you have mentioned for the price there should be a lot more printed details. Now that they have done this livery let’s hope they do some more Atlas Air models 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
I have this model also, in fairness it’s not terrible..but it is too expensive and the box is just not it. Herpa is able to do nice boxes, I have both the A330 and A321 neo’s of Starlux and the boxes are lovely and a stand with Starlux written on it is included!
