Boho is Bohemian, which is an ethnic culture. For some reason, pop culture links Boho to just being about fashion but that's not the entirety of Bohemian. Slang and lingo is fluid and changes with time. Thank you for the lovely instructional video, this is very helpful. 💜
I'm a few weeks late, but this was very accurate. It's similar to the spread I did asking Hekate for guidance. I've ended up moving on from some trauma, creating a beautiful resume for a job I really want, and slowly building my life back. Instead of getting The Tower and Reversed Temperance, I'm now getting 9 of Pentacles and Reversed The Moon paired with The Sun :)
I found one in the woods, so i was wondering how these work. It was mind blowing that the first one i saw in this video is the one you accidently flipped at 0:53 and fhat is the very same card that i found in the forrest. What are the odds.
This is not what the Tarot was invented for . Tarot can't be understood in 30 minutes. To begin with you need to learn the esoteric meanings of the keys and their use .
I'm sure that the Tarot wasn't 'invented' it evolved from a card game in Northern Italy. The Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn took the opportunity and knowledge from occult esoteric studies and the Tarot De Marseilles to create their own decks as part of their initiation and rights of passage into Freemasonry. This particular deck was created by Arthur E Waite and he wasn't permitted to share the secret teachings in their true form but he gave clues through the images that Pamela Colman-Smith created. He was an advocate of demystifying this knowledge so that it is accessible for the masses to self-empower their lives. Tarot is not something you can 'know' in 30 minutes, it is a lifelong journey. I have been reading and learning for over 30 years and I don't make that claim in the video. It is my ambition to make this wonderfully empowering tool available and accessible to whomever feels drawn. I am in awe of Tarot, I live and love it. I cannot imagine my life without it and I waded through a wall of secrecy, cannots, do's, and don'ts to reach a place where I can share my knowledge freely, with respect, admiration and I am honoured to do this too. The Tarot deserves, in fact all knowledge deserves to be shared. I hope that my reply has reassured you that I am not dishonouring the Tarot in any way and that I am actually sharing from a place of love. ❤️
@@markdearden6631 How very interesting. Thank you for sharing the name of an historic leading authority on Tarot. I will read his work with time prevailing. If there are viewers that see this comment, are there any other Tarot historians that you think they may benefit from reading?
Thank you for sharing this video, I'm a tarot card newbie and was looking for an intro to the deck. You did such a great job with this video! I subscribed to your channel and can't wait to watch some more videos.
You are a primary 6 though, the Lovers. Very passionate about whatever consumes you, love harmony, beauty, nature, life and love and you do that in a very distracting way (XV) so the primary number is who you are and the secondary is the way that you do it (your character) ❤
I have been tryong to learn tarot for years, and thos video has helped me more than any video ever. Thank you so mich for making this. I will come back to it if i need it.
So maybe you can help me piece this together. I've never had a tarot reading let alone touch a deck and I understood just about everything you said. It just came to me and I knew that the queen of pentacles was going to show up later. Why was it so clear? I know it was a fictional story but I read it so clearly. Help me try to understand this
You are evolving and your intuitive skills are reaching a level that you can trust them without question. You have described 'Claircognizance' here, which is an ability to 'know' things. I literally call it the 'knowing' and it's like a muscle, the more you work it the more developed it becomes. I hope that helps? ❤️
@@TheBigJimShow8376 Either Tarot or Oracle works just as well if you are using them to enhance intuition and test development. It's a decision I have obviously never regretted ❤
@@TheBigJimShow8376 Hi, I have a few tutorials in this playlist; one of which is the difference between oracle and tarot etc. ru-vid.com/group/PLEAOjGk7Fxbe7njQ12mxX7sHE9OJEV9X2 ❤
Hello, what a lovely gesture thank you so much. I love that my little shop is such a globetrotter 😘. It's just the UK presently although international shipping is often requested, so its something I plan to add soon. ❤️
I don't know why but this Ace of cups made me feel uncomfortable and usually, it's one of my favorite cards lol the black stuff coming out (which I guess is water), but the fact that it's black makes me uncomfortable lol but the other cards are nice. I don't know if I would use this kind of deck though. The yellow is really calming though.
Im gettinginto tarot and out of all people ive watched, this is the best explanation ever, most of the people i watched looked at every detail of the card, shich isnt bad but it mostly confused me and this simple explanation gave me an idea of what the card meant and i interperted it way better and i already learned a handful of cards in one watch, THANK YOU!❤
I may redo this video at some point in the future so I will definitely take this on board thank you. It's such a fun exercise too. I also won't use such a light coloured pen next time❤️
It does upset me that she didn't get the recognition during her life time and that she actually fell upon hard times during her final years. Although, I'm sure she will be delighted though that her work is still admired and used to this day - what a wonderful legacy to leave us all ❤️
Brand-brand new. Cards come in on Thursday. Non-traditional deck, whoops. I can’t wait to connect. I probably should have started traditional, but I connect with both of the two decks I ordered. They map on to traditional decks, but are different. Thanks for sharing!
Welcome to the world of Tarot ❤️ My apologies I didn't reply earlier - it's been a crazy week and time has not been my bestie! How are you getting on with your non traditional deck?❤️
@@TheTarotShopUK That helped 🙂 FYI in Asian countries card readers (not Tarot) apply the principle of 9times for women and 7 times for men, resulting from some ancient belief and I was wondering if this would apply. I'll just shuffle until it feels right to stop, as you say. Thank you.
I'm not sure of the illustrations. It's sorta of bizarre .. anyway I'll give it a look... Not sure..I am very traditional...Raider and White is my comfort..
I agree, I am a Rider-Waite-Smith girl to my very core and I don't like or read the Thoth personally but there are those that swear by it. You tend to be in either the RWS, Thoth or Marseille camp, although some mix and match too. It inspires me that even in choosing our decks, we can choose our own reading styles. The tarot never stops teaching us that the choices are always our own. Very philosophical for a Monday morning! Apologies for the delay - time has not been my friend this past week ❤️
