This was one of my first decks back in around 1991 and it's still one of my favourites. First published in 1985, and yes the art was really done with coloured pencil, with ink outlines.

Thanks so much for letting me know, it looked liked colour pencil. Such a gentle deck and I love it when they revive an old classic like this too! I started in 1991 too, but my first was the Arthurian Tarot - a complete lifetime ago and one of the best decisions of my life. I have such huge affection for the limited decks we had available back then❤️

@@TheTarotShopUK I have the Arthurian too, I use that one more for pathworking than reading for divination. The other old-school decks I have are the Morgan Greer, Sacred Rose (that was my actual first), and Arcus Arcanum. Morgan Greer is still available but I think the other two are not.

@@LewisLittle66What a good idea to use the Arthurian for pathworking. I'm afraid mine was retired once I became an avid RWS fan! I have the Morgan Greer too, I love it. You've peeked my curiosity - I can't remember the Sacred Rose or Arcus Arcanum - I'll have a little snoop around Aeclectic Tarot, they still have so many decks on there. Thank you ❤

Sacred Rose is available on Amazon but Arcus Arcanum has only one deck from Germany. Interesting - thank you, I enjoyed looking at them.
