I play games since 2000. I was, and still I am attracted by stories and well written characters and dialogues. It was never been very much for me to play online games, where players are often acting uncultivated. When Max Payne 3 came out in 2012, I was nicely surprised because I get the game I always desired. Today is 2021 and it is a big pity that the game industry was mainly focused on money, unfinished games, pink, green, blue skins, ridiculous brightly colored characters, weapons, multiplayer and more screaming children and the like. From my part, online games are getting more to resemble color gambling automats(gambling machines if you like). I expected the evolution of the gaming industry that it will be more focused on games such as: Max Payne, Alan Wake, Last of Us etc. So I speak through RU-vid and this commentary a wish. I wish that single player, the story and perfect game mechanics returned back to the front of the game industry.
Scriptwriter of MP3 pitching his ideas to Rockstar management in 2010: Okay, let's go. So we've got Max sitting in a dumpy bar. Some mafia rich kids bully him and hit lady in front of him. So Max shoots them. Yeah, and by the way there's a Mexican guy jumps in out of of nowhere, y'know like Deus Ex Machina, and offers Max a job in a God-knows-where just for the hell of it. Rockstar mangement: sounds solid. We're buying it
From that moment he was dead in that town? He took down the entire Punchinello crime family and all of a sudden he was afraid of some measly little mobster
I guess by that I meant that it didn't it get a release or backwards compatibility on newer consoles. It came out near the tail end of the 360/PS3 life cycle and I feel like it got missed by a lot of people who didn't get a chance to play it on PC later.
