Your dragonfly resonates with me. My mom and one of her friends walked daily for over 20 years and called themselves the "Dragon Ladies". My mom was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2003. As a radiation oncologist I was able to guide her through diagnosis and treatment when we spoke by phone on that January Sunday evening and she mentioned that she had felt a lump in her breast. Having treated pediatric cancer patients myself, My heart goes out to you and all parents. There is NOTHING harder than knowing your child has cancer. Thank you for working to enhance cancer care.

I'm 71 years old, I smoked Marlboro Reds for almost 30 years, I didn't start until I joined the military, It's crazy if you smoke, you get a smoke break, if you don't smoke, no break. I tried to quit hundreds of times. In 2001, I had a Dr. appt and asked my Doctor if there was anything he could prescribe for me to help me quit. I took it for one month (Zyban) and ran out, I got my second months refill and took it for 2 days and decided I'd had enough. I found out that the medication I was taking was for depression and they found that people that took it had a tendency to quit. I quit smoking August the 27th (the day before my birthday) back in 2001. So, I haven't touched a cigarette in 23 years. I feel sorry for those that smoke, now my son is smoking at the age of 36. He's suffered two heart attacks in the last year and a half. I told him, you need to get this monkey off your back. He knows how bad they are, so today I sent him this video because showing someone how bad smoking is works so much better than just talking. Bad habits are hard to break, it takes a firm mind and infinite will power. I ate gum and lifesavers for a few months to help. Bless everyone out there that quits and make sure to tell your story to those that may not be here much longer if they don't.
