Hey, what's up? My name is Jardy. I've been teaching house dance tutorials on RU-vid since 2009, and if you've been following me, you've probably learned a good number of dance moves from my channel. You may have even wondered, "ok cool, I learned some nice moves, but how do I put them together the way you do in your 'freestyle' videos?" For more information on how, visit my website house-dance.com

I keep wanting to stomp down on the kick, but I see it being taught to stomp on the hi hats. Which is it? Makes a difference when transitioning to other steps if the timing is off. It seems more natural to stomp the kick to me. Any thoughts?
I've seen many people do both! From my experience, though, stomping on the hi-hat makes more sense musically and aesthetically, and it transitions better into the other moves. Overall, more people stomp on the hi-hat. You should do what feels natural for you.
Get It! I remember the scissor!!!!I discovered your channel many years later and I am getting my life! Takes me back! Thank you Jardy!!! Side note the cone of shame in the back is killin' me!
@@rockyroadorange101 hey! So from what I’ve heard from a lot of people, including folks from St Louis where this move was created, the chicken head is a different move. I’ve also seen the chicken head, and it does look similar, so I understand the confusion.
This is great! There is not a large house community in Dallas, Texas and I love learning new variations. Sometimes I'm like "duh, just add a hop or turn variation" but it's easier said than done haha.
I love this!!! Feel like this is what my body naturally wanna do when I hear music so being able to practice a real move rather than just moving my feet around is rewarding as hell lol
