Unlock vast opportunities with the power of knowledge and the potential of small computers. From turning the Raspberry Pi into a supercomputer to exploring the convergence of AI and IoT, this channel showcases how to achieve big things on small tech.
¨tesla style¨ what the fck is ¨tesla style¨ ? To me that means shoddy, overhyped jangly shiny things meant to please a baby or small child. I can not trust anyone who thinks ¨tesla style¨ is a good thing. Ellen Musk´s Teslas are shitty, shoddy materials slapped together just long enough to roll off the showroom floor.
The question is more: Why would you run this on a Raspberry Pi, if you got a computer which is faster than a Raspberry Pi anyway? I mean, do we pretend that Computers still take 15 Minutes to boot up or something like this that this use case makes sense? 🤔
Prob is the tech takes up channels and multiuser can cause .ocal household wfi to Stop. An ypunhave to be a qualified radio amateur so you can use different allowed frequencies
Interesting device. If it would work for someone in a life raft on the ocean, it might be a safety thing for boaters. Another common question is likely to be: What can it do that the planned Starlink cell phones will be able to do?
it absolutely works. I did a nano v3 project with a TFT screen, calculations and sensors and I saw a video saying how easy it was to port everything to esp32 using arduino IoT. I mean shit, if that's easy, I don't want to know what hard looks like. I ended up giving up after 5 days of failing to get even the esp32 to show up as online in the arduino cloud. Then a couple days after that, I thought I'd throw everything in chatgpt and see what happens. Had workable code 5 minutes later.
My great grands watched this with us kiddies and they were reminded of playing telephone. With cups and string. It took how many years of that before we got our first blackberries they asked???? A long long long time. Then there was no innovation after that. So.
If every major crime boss and his cronies had one of these in somewhere densely packed like the UK..... Yep. It *COULD* work. But for close naughty comms in a city... YEP!
wait so you still have to use an app. welcome back phone providers

Sure it is nice yet some ham radios already allow you to do this (even from the comfort of your phone screen) plus the benefit of sustaining actually voice calls with less hassle, manual work and increased reliability... Having a true private channel sure it's nice tho
'Here's my review slating PI, funded by their competator , a Chinese owned competitor with piss poor manufacturing and cccp oversight' shame man, absolute shame
0:40 That's the same beep that has been heard from desk phones in the corporate world for the last 20 years 1:55 also fyi you can pre-download Offline Maps on Google Maps and GPS is satellite based, so it works anywhere...
Back in my day we used voice (faster than typing text), 2-way radios (walking while talking requires little training) and didn't lead secretive lives. I bet you used your credit card to buy that online... sorry, they gotcha already buddy.
Does it hurt holding your hands and arms out like that just to get your hands into frame? Looks so unnatural. Like TRex with short arms. Forget about what they say about making YT videos and having to put your hands in view and doing so many unnecessary and awkward gestures. Takes away from the quality of the video if you ask me. I couldn't finish watching.
