I literally tried dark mode all day today 75% (charge) from 7:45am-6:30pm (battery health at 87%) and got 8.45 hours of screen on time (5% battery left at 6:30pm when I put back to charge) with my 13 pro max it surprised me as I usually have my phone on low power mode while at work (until I leave I would turn it off) and using light mode until sunset it would turn to dark mode can you do a test on dark mode vs light mode battery test I think a lot of people would appreciate it and if u did a test like that before can u reply with the link ? I didn’t know I would save so much battery using dark mode I’m using iOS 17.5 RC build
I don’t give a f**k about the battery. It’s a phone guys!!! If the battery goes low, who the f**k cares!! I buy another one, it’s just a phone!! Use my brain for important things haha
Putting the Apple Pencil charging dock on the other side of the iPad would be completely ridiculous, and would mean you couldn't store your pencil with iPad when in any case that wraps around the iPad, unless you wanted to have your camera sitting at the bottom which is obviously ridiculous. You're the second person I've seen suggest this and I can't understand why.
@@zollotech perhaps, but that would be an awkward position to detach and reattach to given that you can't fold the case completely flat. It's un-apple-like and would've been a sad mistake to make. Glad they went with the correct option.
I have iPad Pro 12.9 4th gen no major just a tablet to browse and render some videos from time to time … Would you upgrade from this iPad to air m2 13”? Suggestions?
Happy with M1 Pro, I don’t see the new pro selling lots unless you really want that those. I can see air being a popular tho with the newer bigger size option
I’ve had an iPad since the original. Currently the M2 11 Pro. I’m going to go check out the new M4 11, but the wow factor with the screen would have to be really high for me to change.
I am so glad they finally made the displays identical between both the 11” and the 13” models. This made buying the 11” model so much more easier. I got the model I was looking to get with a Silver, Cellular, 256gb model. Fortunately they made the base storage 256gb so I didn’t need to make a decision with that. But… I have to buy the new pencil considering the 2nd gen is no longer compatible with the new M4 iPads :/ Apple education discount really helped out a decent amount. An overlooked site that people forget about. You don’t even need credentials to purchase from there.
Great review! I still have my 12.9 iPad Pro 4th generation, 128 g still working find. If I decide to buy the new Pro is because starts at 256 g, will. You did not mention, both iPads the Air and the Pro comes with speakers and Spatial Audio?
Your apple pencil remarks are misleading. Other Apple pencils will in fact work with the new iPads, they just may not charge wirelessly on the side like the new pro pencil can
My first iPad was a first gen iPad mini. I just ordered the new iPad Air 11" with 256GB, Apple Pencil Pro and Magic Keyboard to replace my iPad 7th Gen. Looking forward to the new device and the increased processing power. Not to mention the greater battery life as my current iPad is down to less than 50% power as it only lasts about 3 hours of web browsing before a recharge is needed.
I’m trading in my 2022 iPad air because I hate the touch to turn off. I take many many photos before I can get it to turn off. Also using my military discount
New iPad Pro cons ▫️Apple removed the 2nd rear camera 🔸Apple removed 1 studio microphone 🔹Apple Pencil 2 won’t work with it 🔻Existing Magic Keyboard won’t work with it 🔺The M4 chip in the 256 and 512 GB models is a binned one with lower CPU and performance cores than getting an 1T or 2T model which has the fully unlocked M4 chip.
