Hope this next release they fix the issues running shortcuts from Siri. Even simple stock shortcuts freeze at times and don’t complete. Also battery on 17.4.1 revision is draining fast on my iPhone 15 Pro

Since updating my iPhone 13pro max, I’m happy to say the battery performance has been amazing (unlike the 17.4.1) if you are using 17.5.1 update ASAP!

Handy video Aaron! That's interesting about not being able to delete the timers you set in the clock app (I not nor have ever experienced that bug). If Apple fixes this bug, maybe they'll actually fix the clock timer sound bug too, since there's more than one bug in the same section.

Ever since I got my 15 promax, I’ve been charging my battery only to 80%. I have been charged cycles as you do and my battery is still 100%.

Back in time when I got the 11 PM: I always charged it to 100% and it took 13-15 months for the battery to drop from 100% to 99%. I never checked the %. This 80% BS is getting ridiculous! Live your life, use your iPhone .. when it drops to 79% (in about 3 years) just change the battery or buy another phone.

"When I play a game in landscape mode or keep it in that mode, the animation in the dynamic island looks very bad when I put the phone on silent, receive a call, or charge it. When a call comes in, the dynamic island moves here and there, doesn't open in the same place, and the animaton crashes plz do something brandon and the app closing animations are very jittery and when i open control centre it also feels too jittery

I am starting to think the wallpaper dimming bug is not a bug but to make better contrast from the apps to the wallpaper. Just a thought but either way it is so minor that i am sure it is very low on the list IF it is a bug. The notification bug that was around for a while was a much more noticeable issue and should not have taken as long to be fixed as it did

17.4 update seems to cause a problem with Apple EarPods with Lightning connector. New out of the box play in both ears for a while but then one or both go out on the second or third plug in. Very odd but I can't go back to an older version of iOS to confirm that it is the update. Are there known issues? I prefer the connected version instead of moving to the Airpods. Let me know if anyone else has experienced this same problem. I am connecting with an iPhone 12 Pro.

I’ve long used switch control with a custom tap recipe assigned to the full screen switch. I’ve used this daily for work as an auto clicker. After downloading iOS 17.5 I can engage switch control( like normal) by triple clicking the upper button on the right. But the recipe will no longer run. It does nothing. I’ve tried literally everything to problem solve it. Can’t figure it out. 17.5 had to have broken it. Unfortunately I have no way of reverting back to iOS 17.4 because when I restore my phone it only gave me a restore option from a backup after 17.5 was downloaded. I’ve left apple feedback. So frustrating

I don’t think they’ll ever do that because that’s not how professional cameras work and that’s what they’re copying. However, certain apps allow you to do that.

Using 17.4.1. When adding text to a photo, and adjusting text color, the spot to touch to get to the color selections, is default black. The background is also a slight lighter shade of black. If unfamiliar with doing this, it is possible to not even see where to touch to get to the color selections. Unbelievable, but yes, this happened to me. Now I know. This thing could have been so much easier if someone had the foresight.

Since updating to iPad 17.4.1 I have trouble with Files App as it stops working and I have to reset the iPad and some times quick after it can fail again, other apps that use the Files app will fail also when trying to save files to Files app. I hope it gets a fix.

Currently on iOS 17.4.1 on my 15PM and my alarm is wonky. It will just stop after ringing just a few times. Caused me to be late for work on a few occasions. I’m also not sure if anyone reported this issue. I’m not sure if it’s my AirPods Pro 2 non USBC or Apple Music but I find the sound weird. The sound from the song will be in front at times and behind at other times and the behind is quite soft. And I also find some songs get loud and I need to reduce the volume and some songs so soft I need to increase volume. I didn’t face such previously like before iOS 17.4. I also feel my phone hotter than previously even without charging. And hotter when I’m playing my game.

I'm on 17.4.1, 15 Pro Max and there was this strange bug that happened once: Face ID stopped recognizing me, and after locking/unlocking the phone with passcode a couple times it shut down and reset itself. It hasn't happened again but I had no issues before 17.4.1 which also seems to have lesser battery performance.

@@zollotech i am glad, you responded. Okay. I telling in detail. Just after opening camera app it’s all fine in photo mode, video mode or any other mode. Now, i place a scenario, when start with photo mode and now i wish to shift it to portrait- camera shows extra zoom and image distorted. So, to use portrait mode, i have to turn off the app and reopen it to use it functionally. And vice versa. So problem in short is switching I between camera mode is not ok somehow. Should mention, my phone is clean and no physical damage. Not even dropped in bed. I issued it in apple community. Many people are facing same issue without any results. Just waiting for an holy update to solve this mystery. From Bangladesh.

I will say that on 17.5 beta one my iPad 9 and my 15 Pro battery life has been wonderful. I’m 17.4.1 battery life and overall device performance was a little less and frustrating. 17.5 beta one so far seems to have improved a little bit. So excited for iOS 18 like everyone else is though! Dont pls! I was on 17.1 till past 4 days and updated to 17.4.1. Worst update ever for iphone 13. Its so laggy, then when typing, the sound of the keyboard makes some cracks like sound somehow. When you want to lock the phone, the screen turns off after 1 sec. And it fills laggy

Waiting until September to release the «cycle count»; marketing it as an iOS 18 feature is terribly stupid of Apple. They should have released it with iOS 17.
