A for effort but as someone who's been homeroasting with DIY gear for more than a decade you need to 1) get a semi-enclosed system so the heating is more effective - you're taking too long to roast, should take ~15-20mins total, 2) build a cooling rig (old bucket, colander & extraction fan are mine) cools in a few mins. Also get some one way vent bags for storing, 1-2 weeks is too long to wait to consume - a few days is fine but up to you. Good videos regardless.

@@irefusetopay Try tracking down an old breadmaker, you can place the beans in it's baking bowl & it will stir whilst you use your heatgun (I have that Ozito as well!). Chaff will still come off - you can usually remove the lid or place hole in it - often overall project is known as a coretto. You have great videos, I applaud your improvisational & problem solving approach. We need more thinkers and less blind followers so well done.

The brake system is open to moisture at the fluid reservoir. Contrary to popular belief it is not sealed air tight. If it was it would be a vacuum in the reservoir as the brake pads wore down and the pistons in your brake calipers protruded further. So as the the fluid level drops in your reservoir as the pads wear. That means more air and so moisture gets in. That's on top of all the driving in rain etc. So regardless of mileage your fluid does simply age. Just as it does in a bottle of fluid left on the shelf after opening and despite screwing the cap on tightly. A cheap brake vacuum is a syringe, which you can buy at a chemist. That and some 5mm clear vinyl hose.

What's the heating for some youtuber apply and what if you don't have heatgun, why dont just stick them after the 5 minutes dry period? Is PU adhesive different instructions compare to a common rubber based contact cement where they just tell you to contact them after 5 minutes?
@irefusetopay
@irefusetopay Месяц назад
Following manufacturers recommendations is the best approach I would suggest. PU glue is completely different, its the ultimate glue to use with the right activators.

@NetvoTV Месяц назад
@@irefusetopay hi, thanks for reply, yeah but the instruction by the manufacturer isn't clear themselves, they didn't say wait for how long and I contacted their customer service and they say it's the same as rubber contact cement,vis that true because what I found is rubber contact cement doesn't needs heatgun and just wait and stick, PU glue it seem like need heatgun? But I don't have heatgun, what to do?
@irefusetopay
@irefusetopay Месяц назад
Use a hair dryer. As a starting point, heat it to 50 to 60 degrees Celsius. For PU glues, I queried a seller and was told to heat to 60 degrees. Good luck.

@@irefusetopay i see, but is heating neccessary at all and not just glue it like rubber based contact cement where you just stick them together after wait for 5 minutes for the solvent to evaporate?
@sylas9762
@sylas9762 Месяц назад
I heard that to apply 2nd layer of adhesive, I need to reactive it by applying heat to it, and the heat from hair dryer might be sufficient enough. But that also lead to another problem, I think, if we live and walking under scorching sun or hot and humid weather like asia, desert,... where it can get to more than 40 degree celsius or even 50 to 60 degree celsius, it might cause the glue on the shoes to reactivate and un-bonding the outsole of the shoes.
@irefusetopay
@irefusetopay Месяц назад
Hi there, yes I have seen cobblers use heat guns to reactivate glues, though it makes me wonder the reason they do so. I would always follow the glue instructions from its manufacturer.
