Body kits and personal style selection should forever be a thing. And would be if events and marketing had a pro hype man such as myself n yours truly. Somebody wins, if you grabbed me up to let me do my thing. Life is actively seeking out N trying to kill ya mans. On zero basis. The malicious intent is never an offer from my side of the table.
Sadly you should make it as art on paper to visualize, then attack. Since driveway backyard Salon style just not for the faint. Many beloved vehicles were lost to such recklessly misguided haircuts. 💇 🙂↔️🪤🐦⬛🪦
Another reason they foul very fast, especially in the series one is because premix can foul the sparkplugs as well due to them being constantly coated in oil. Series 2 is a bit bettter because they have an extra oil injector in each rotor. Oil can foul spark plugs as well as carbon, rotaries are especially prone to premature sparkplug wear because the oil is injected into the conbustion chamber.
1st of all you have to rev the crap out of a rotary every time you drive it and then maybe you wouldn't have your spark plugs looking like that. 2nd you are getting ripped off on spark plugs i was deep in the rotary community a long time ago and even now i can still get quality plugs for half and normal ones for a quarter of what you paid. Unless you are getting increased engine performance you are getting ripped off.
99% of Japanese sports cars were beautiful works of art. Changing the tail lights or adding any body mods that didn't match the style of the car is like painting a mustache on the Virgin Mary. Blasphemous!
bro your making this a big deal, people all over only have their drift cars to drive and people drive their drift cars all the time. but entertaining still
I had a 1985 GSL, and a 1985 GSL-SE that I swapped a turbo TII engine into with a 60-1 turbo before throwing my hat into the ring with a RX8. Rotaries are very niche, fun, expensive, terrible for the environment, terrible on fuel. My RX8 is a 2005 with around 60k miles on it. I purchased it with the intentions of driving it, saving up parts and money and LS swapping it. Ignition systems are a huge issue. The plugs and coils require fairly frequent replacement, if it misfires it takes out the catalytic converter pretty quick. I’ve also premixed. All this being said this is probably the best driving car I’ve experienced. I’ve driven lots of different vehicles (everything from GTR’s, corvettes, 350z/370z), but nothing handles as well as these cars, nimble and predictable.
i hope it comes back tbh. the car scene lost a lot of originality with social media being so prominent. people don’t build crazy shit anymore, because all they see are cookie cutter builds on the internet and it kills their creativity. social media puts people in a box, making them believe that all they see is what’s acceptable to do.
Not a fan personally, I would prefer a elegant stock looking interior with carbon parts, colorful leather (like beige, red or brown) and stock steering wheels (with carbon parts and the leather should have the same color to fit in the interior.) I just hate tuning steering wheels and i also hate putting a modern steering wheel on a older car, because this destroys the design and atmosphere of the interior.
Rob Dahm and Mad Mike Whidette should be working on the 12rotor together! Would get things done ✅ that much faster and quad turbo ore 6compound turbos to make mad power thats always available from you step on it
About to pick up an 04 here in 3 days and am getting pretty excited about it. It is low on compression already so it will need a rebuild immediately, but i’m looking forward to giving it a shot and the body is stupid clean so I feel like the price i’m paying is justified
