I'm getting less and less hyped for ES6. Bethesda doesn't seem to be wanting to make a good game anymore. They are also getting greedy with the stupid paid mods
Any time a company introduces paid mods it will get flack - I bet though that Xbox owners who now have access to free and paid mods (something that Bethesda rarely get credit for) have a different impression than the Steam review bombers, (which let's face it is just another form of Social media pile-on) The quality of free and paid mods alone makes the Creations worth it ( I know you can get most off Nexus as well though). Plus the simple method for mod load order management also works well. Now admittedly Bethesda should have made the Trackers Alliance all free (which is really the focus for much of the hate), and I am sure they will try to redress this down the line - as per T Howard's comments.
I'm going to be honest. I never needed Starfield to be extravagant with loads of creative content, I just wanted some of the bugs fixed like floating tree and rocks, invisible platforms, buggy NPCs and items sinking into "solid surfaces"; bugs that are still present to this day, despite the laundry list of fixes supposedly already done. This isn't to diminish the effort of trying to improve the game, but what good is any of it if the issues defeat the purpose?
I think the creations I've bought from Non-bethesda creators have all been worth my money. I haven't bought any of their official ones because they just didn't appeal to me. So yeah I pretty well agree.
This game is probably always going to have a stigma attached to it paid mods or not though the most important question is do you enjoy it & if so that's all that matters it's like pineapple on pizza, I think that's a culinary crime but plenty of people with no taste seem to enjoy it 🤣🤣🤣
Theyve made a mistake, hopefully they can make up for it. I think if the trackers alliance put out a package of 3-5 trackers quests would be better. I wasnt happy with any if the paid mods that i bought. I bought the argos mod, the vulcher mod. While interesting there just wasnt enough meat in the mods. Some of the free mods i have though have changed up the game. Such as the ring of swiftness, better loot, enemy level scaling. I want bigger more in depth mods to pay for. Also an abandoned cyro facility overhaul.
I don't like this custom dificulty setting my normal normal dificulty gave me 20 per kill before now it gives 7 unless I modify even at 45%I get 15 per kill mind am just starting out but before it was 20
I don't think most the people on here are going to play elder scrolls 6 since they hate Bethesda so much if they do they fake you should never support a company you don't like
I'm not touching anymore games until to woke shit is stamped out. No gay content, no drag, trans, no anti white, no anti masculine men, no pronouns, no green deal crap, no climate crap and every stupid nonsense the left crap out their asses. Bethesda screwed the pooch and people know it.
I played it for about 2 weeks 9 months ago and i hated it. Tried it again a couple days ago and im actually having fun. Most of what was pissing me off has been fixed by mods. Its still not hard enough. Im on extreme.
Make sure you have "positive & negative" selected for food buffs/debuffs in the difficulty settings, & then stay permanently dehydrated & malnourished. That helps!
I'm so happy Shattered Space takes place on one planet. That was one of my complaints with base game, was too many planets and less focus. Looking forward to it and happy mods are on xbox.
Didn't we see spacewalking in the trailer or at least walking ie floating in some void or shattered space as it were. looked like it to me. wether that means fullyfledged spacewa;lks is a bit of a stretch I guess. suprised mods haven't done it yet.
Thank you. I for one love Starfield, shortcomings and all. I have a hard time seeking out Starfield news without getting hit with a ton of negativity. I still play it on and off, but I'll be honest, it is getting boring. That is the problem with space. There is so much room and the emptiness makes it seem worse than Fallout or TES. More room needs more content. I'm a builder/crafter type of player. I'm not big on quest and story. I don't think Starfield lore can compete with Fallout or TES. I need more content around building, crafting, and quality of life. Some things I would like: 1) building starports. 2) building capitol ships, like a carrier that can hold other ships. 3) More planets, or another galaxy. I little randomness might help too. 4) More outpost customization. Is it just me or is it missing farming/planting? 5) Building underground or underwater 6) Ground vehicles 7) Blueprinting 8) Creature/Pet customization, Perhaps some genetic manipulation. and for God's sake, if we have learned anything from Fallout, doors that do not open to offer exploration is bad.
I don't mind a one-off payment for something, but if every mission requires a cash purchase then sorry but it's a dick move... we've paid for Trackers Alliance, so every subsequent add-on for it should be included in that initial purchase.
Can't always guarantee 6-weekly updates, especially since they have other projects plus it depends on what needs fixing; as long as there are fixes/updates then this game could go on for years and years... I hope for more DLC after Shattered Space, grow the universe and give us more systems.
Adding content to a fundamentally broken core game is like adding cheese to a mouldy sandwich. Adding rovers to a game where the playable areas are to big for walking and too small for vehicles will not change the fact that there is much of nothing to explore regardless. Yes a new storyline will be much appreciated but I feel that it's too little, too late for the majority of players. I don't see changing the general publics opinion on this dumpster fire.
Especially not after the bs Bethesda is already pulling with things like Trackers Alliance. Bethesda is just trying to milk the few fanboys they have left. And for some reason those fanboys seem to celebrate Bethesda for it...
@@Caelumization Yes. It generates more land and more POI as you walk along, as of the last major update, I think it was. You can literally land on one spot on a planet and go everywhere there is to go on that planet, except maybe the pre-set POIs, without ever returning to your ship to land on another spot. I don't know all the details, but I have done some far walking and can confirm that it will expand the landscape as you move around.
I mean starfield has been one of BSGs better releases. Though in typical fashion it simply wasn't complete. They cut some things out that they didn't restructure for. They should have had vehicles or more encounters. The factions should be seen in the worlds in conflict. Though they are starting to get there and the release of CK will significantly improve on the experiences players have. I am much happier with starfield in its current state and hope that the vehicles and new DLC come out soon.

Right! I love starfield but every base is controlled by a single faction & they exist in peaceful isolation until the player shows up. It would be awesome to land in the midst of a battle & have to choose a side. Mods.
This particular drab 'loading screen simulator' was intentionally released as a minimum viable product. I'm not even prepared to buy the base game, nevermind any dlc or paid mods.
And it's not just about the quest being too expensive, it's the idea that it shows what we can expect from Creations going forward. I think people have high hopes for Ceations, but when they feel nickel-and-dimed right away it leaves a bad taste. I personally wouldn't review bomb the game for it, but that's where we are.
Game has room for a lot more content, and we did not got almost anything aside from 2 3 major faction quests. All other side missions are completely unworthy. If they want to make this game as they said "to be played many years" it needs a lot more content.
I get why people are angry especially for this Bounty Hunter one. I also don’t like paying for mods but I also don’t mind paying for mods from creators I like soooo yea. I hate the system but will use it for the creator… I think I’m just the target demographic in this case. Also let’s be real here and say our favorite mod creator didn’t use CC and instead decided to upload it on to Patreon, it would likely be a 5 dollar mod there too but we won’t bat a eye at that. Now the one complaint I do have is these damn virtual dollars I’ll have to pay 10 bucks to get one 5 dollar mod. Now that is the scummy part we should be angy about.
$7 for a single mission is really overpriced. That's more than half the price of some really good and in-depth indie games. If it was a once-off payment with more missions to follow it would be perfectly reasonable. Modders should get paid though so good one on Bethesday.
Anyone who is reviewing starifeilds creations section as negative isn't a true fan True fans know every few mods are paid The majority are free and always better than the paid mods
I did get the starsim. Only issue I have with bethesdas outpost items is the outpost itself doesn't really have shit to begin with not when compared to F4 though i do have DLC too so who knows.
Can't see many people paying for that one quest and it is a shitty way to do it. They could have gone about it better and hopefully will be forced to pay for their mistake and change it. Cosmetics I have no problem paying for but not game play unless its dlc or a mini dlc.
The Vulture mission is essentially there just to get his sniper rifle. The quest itself is quite forgettable and nowhere near the quality of the first one.
