Good morning lovely Janette Too good to miss that beautiful rose. Plants are amazing. With me having so many in containers i even forget about them, then lo and behold a beautiful bloom lures you towards it.Then you think " i knew i bought that for a reason"😮 The rain was much needed yesterday and what I call ordinary rain. Ordered my white narcissi for next year and blue muscari. You can maybe guess the narcissi variety? I will now disclose last years tulip variety😂 It was...QATAR😢. The writing promised it to be so fantastic. What a fiasco and flop it turned out to be. Never again. Enough of plants. Please tell Richard we are willing so hard for his recovery and good health❤❤ p.s. I know what you mean about the true beauty of plants not translating through photos etc. Have a wonderful Sunday and Bank holiday💯💞💫🤩🍰☕

Hello there, yes you can although I’ve never done it. You’d collect the seed pods when they’ve gone light brown, put them in a warm dry place until they burst open and then harvest the small black seeds and store them in a cool dark place until planting them. Hope that helps 😊

Hi guys, I came across the video and found urs and I really liked it. The garden is magnificent. I love the Japonica. It's such a big bloom leaf plant. But O e question I have is that I have a balcony south facing g and I have 2 both in large plant baskets, do u think that's alright for them?
@TheEnthusiasticGardener
@TheEnthusiasticGardener 3 дня назад
@P.willow hi there and I’d say yes! They are really tough plants and of course they are going to get big, but I have 3 in containers and they’re fine. As long as we remember that containers rely on us to provide all their water, they should be quite happy. And I have Fatsias in shade as well as sun too so they’re very versatile. 😊❤️

@@TheEnthusiasticGardener Hi lovelies.. I have one in the sun and one in dappled sun/shade area ido this sometimes to see what the plant really likes if I'm not sure. That is such a good test, planting them in different positions to see how they do! And I have to agree with you about bamboo, so many people shy away from them in case they’re invasive don’t they? But not all varieties are. I think they’re beautiful 🤩

I bought a braided willow to grow in a patio container and was told when I put it in the patio container to leave it in the original plant pot for a year to let the plaiting get established . Mines lost alot of it leaves maybe due to Lack of water. Hoping it doesn’t die as they are quite expensive
@TheEnthusiasticGardener
@TheEnthusiasticGardener 13 дней назад
Hi Carole and thanks for watching 😊 I hadn’t heard of leaving it in the pot to establish the plaiting and as you know I didn’t do that 🥴 but I do know that all willows want SO much water, so I’m thinking that might well be why yours is losing leaves. But I wouldn’t worry too much because they say you can dig them up, move them around, cut all the leaves off, and they’ll still keep growing. They’re so attractive aren’t they? Do let me know how it goes 🧡❤️
