in order to prevent the curling after lamination, I usually laminate two sticker pages at a time, back to back, right in the pouch. then you can trim the edges and peel them apart for cutting out 2 at a time! saves time, and prevents the fiddly work of keeping the loose lamination bits away from the rollers. might not work for all laminators since it can get pretty thick tho
This is a great idea! I never thought of that and then you don’t have to worry about wasting a side of the laminate sheet. I’m definitely going to try this next time! Thank you for sharing!
Quick question i plan on going to the one in VA, and i was wondering if i planned on getting a tattoo, would it be better to just wait until i get there or schedule ahead of time? I was thinking of scheduling it way ahead of time but wasn't sure.
Yeah if you know the artist that you want will be there, message them ahead of time because they can get booked fast, especially if it’s a big piece. A lot of artist do take walk ups though but they usually only offer flash sales or art they’ve design themselves.
Wow, American cities must be very dangerous for fearing walking outside for 5 minutes, even with cash. I suppose it's different here in Western Europe where walking in cities is normal instead of driving. It's surprising how different women safety is in the USA vs here
I cant speak on walking in European countries personally but I have a lot of friends that say they feel a lot safer walking there than in the USA. It’s kind of sad to think about.
When I was on Fiverr, I had a very in demand service but their metrics were infuriating. They would ding me for not responding to random inquiries to me from other sellers, and previous customers who thought we needed to have an on-going friendship. Them waiting a couple of days to hear back from me when they're just asking how I'm doing should be freaking fine! Grrr. Just found your channel and am enjoying the content. I'm very fascinated watching people turn hobbies into entrepreneur opportunities. I love how this, gig work and vanlife are allowing people to opt out of the corporate rat race.
Thank you so much! Yes, I’m so glad Etsy doesn’t dock you points if you don’t respond after the first message. The amount of times I go back and forth saying “thank you” is crazy.
Will be sorry not to see you, but glad you're prioritizing your health! I was just telling my partner that I could get a pink squeaky gyroid to match my rainbow one so I can have one in each hand 😂 We cheer each other up sometimes by surprising each other with gyroid squeaks. Anyway, I'll check out your online shop!
Prides are pretty much always like that. I’m prioritizing them next year because of it! Cincinnati Pride specifically, it is outdoors though. I’ve noticed a huge overlap for a lot of types of cons. I’ve done retro gaming cons, Comicon, anime cons and prides and retro gaming cons have the least overlap, but with your stuff you’d do great.
It was so nice to meet you guys at Omgcon! I came by the table several times and just chatted while looking through stuff with my niece and nephew all weekend. Everything was so cute and the artwork was amazing! I love seeing all the different artists every year and trying to support as many as i can, you guys deserve it! And your tandem mouse was so adorable! I was trying to find you to get a picture, but i never did. I guess theirs always next year. ❤
@@LionAroundSewing I thought about maybe trying to do that myself but I don't know if I'm ready to take the leap yet into artist alley or not. I'm still debating and being indecisive lol
I have vended at 2 Pride events and I nearly sold out at both of them! This year is my 3rd pride event in October and Im SO EXCITED!!! I sell frogs though so im not sure on the nerd part of it
@@teddybearisms2505 No, there is always the possibility of “cease and desist” but some companies don’t mind the idea of fanart or using their characters as inspiration as long as you aren’t posing a threat to their sales/company. But all people that make fanart understand there is a risk, we just love making and providing fans with new items that we may never get from the fandoms. Thanks for asking such good questions!
Hey! I was the one who suggested the “product gets damaged” for the card😄also another one is “How much is this?” Even tho it’s clearly marked lol. And, that hot weather literally stinks! I did one June 22nd and it was also VERY HOT. Honestly, markets can be a hit or miss, so I’d try and hit a couple different options(just be careful whenever they mention “craft show” cuz they usually don’t do well lol)but I really hope that you do much better for the one in september!! I also vlog some markets and conventions so if you want, you might be able to get more info if you want to go to more markets😁anyways, sorry for the long comment hahahaha love watching your vlogs!
Thank you for suggesting that one! “How much is this” is such a good one for any selling event 😂 Thank you! I’ll keep all that In mind. I love watching market vlogs while I con prep!
Hi I was wondering if you can help me I’ve been sewing some shirts and it started to suck the shirt into the bottom and I look and it’s a small tight ball of thread under the metal casing not sure what could be wrong it was working perfectly fine these past days of embroidery
I’ll try my best to help but this could be a few different things. The easy solution is check your stabilizer and make sure you have backing stabilizer. This is going to prevent the shirt from getting sucked into the bobbin casing. I would also do top tear away stabilizer if you can just to help. You can also check your bobbin casing. There is a little screw that you can tighten and loosen. It might need to be tightened because after several uses it can ware down. Make sure you are also using the right bobbin weight and random thread.
I would love to see more vids like this. I also love seeing crocheters show off what theyve made but I'm also desperately trying to find people who sew plushies. So far this is the only channel I've found and I'm super happy about that.
Ahhh yay! I’m so glad to hear this! This comment really motivates me because the video isn’t getting as many views as I was hoping so this makes me want to keep filming June content!
Oh no! Make sure you have your bobbin holder in the right direction and is in the whole way. Then make sure your screws are all the way in on the metal part.
