That was my experience. I made a surprisingly high amount last year and this year I still did great, but it was definitely down this year. I’m sure it was economy stuff. Definitely gonna focus on expanding my smaller dollar items selection this year

Speaking as someone from Hawaii, the fact you have any hotels that don't charge $35+ a day for parking blew my mind.

Oh yeah I am very thankful for what I have here 😂 I know that lots of things in Hawaii are so much more expensive!

Love the vlog! Glad you had a good con :) I was wondering how you come up with your prices? I think they’re very fair. I’m hoping to start my own sewing business soon, and I’m really struggling with it!

I’ve found it easiest to charge myself an hourly rate and of course I give myself a raise yearly when I can or when my skills improve. I also factor in materials and anything else that might go into it. If you need a good starting point you can look at other artists that do the same thing as you and see what they charge!
