That looked like an amazing climb. I’m going to Ben Nevis in July and want to attempt the Ledge route climb. I want to do some winter climbing too but I’ll worry about finishing my ML first. Thanks for sharing
Really nice video, I’m thinking of doing this later this year, have heard that the ride back down the east coast from John O Groats is best avoided, your experience seems to confirm that !
@@TerraNova1967 Accommodation booked for three of us for the first week in September and we will be heading south at Melvich, going to take it fairly steady over 7 days, really looking forward to it.
Thank you. I did the walk in October. There are no midges in October. The midge season is June to early September. It should be midge free when you do it.
Great video but you a first class irresponsible cyclist who does not understand closure, personally i think you should be fined for this behaviour..........
For Ama Dablam which is "only" 400m higher climbers spending average 30days...not sure why most trekking company expecting their client to reach summit on day 8...most people will fall out if they coming from sea level..i understand the business part which is quick turnaround times=more client during the season..my personal opinion people who go private at their own pace have much higher success rate then those who sign up for groups to save 200-300$..my point is when the guide said we are here for the group not for individual goals...ive been most of the trekking peaks and if you wanna enjoy the journey better you gave yourself a good 20-25 days for proper acclimatization...unless you coming from a different mountain where you acclimated already
exposure = danger fantastic exposure = fantastic danger I can really recommend it??? These days you can get zero danger, extreme exposure and better footage using a drone.
@@TerraNova1967 great probably I am going to Mera peak on this November and your Film help me a lot to make my plan and I have buy latest diji action 4 for Film I hope this camera will work properly in that altitude and super cold place 🙏 anyway thanks for your Film and reply .
Thanks for sharing. I'm planning a route to this place in the future. I think your experience proves that walks like this are a mental challenge, just as much as they are a physical challenge. Walking alone I mean. That's what I'm preparing myself for when I undertake it.
This is by far the best one ive seen. Ive saved it to watch over n over, till I am doing it. Great vid and congrats to all. Which company did you go with?
Thanks so much for watching and that very kind feedback. I’m chuffed you enjoyed it. I went with Adventure Peaks based in Ambleside, England. I hope you get to do it and succeed.
@@TerraNova1967 Thnk you for the quick responce. I have had a look at Adventure Peaks site, and it is alot better than the one Ive found. Great find. Plus it gives me the oppertunity to complete the rest of the training all in 1 place. Thanks again and I will look forward to your next accent.
My buddies and I biked the Danube and now have our sights set on the NC 500! Scotland is so beautiful. The Scots are a blast to hang out with! Can't wait!!!!
Congratulations on doing this! I'm planning to take my EV and do NC500 in 2023. Your cycle was very pleasent to watch, and I'm just jealous I'm not (yet!) fit enough to do something like that! 😁
It is lovely Philipp and they are memories to treasure. It is doubly devastating now when I watch this video. Our John died on 17th July, the day before our Tony's anniversary. But it also conveys such a fantastic time we had together.
@@TerraNova1967 Yes, Andy. I saw your post about it and that made me remember all the good times we had and glad that I got to know your brother. Again, thanks for keeping this all as videos so we can always look back to it.
