The ultimate channel for modular wargaming boards. Also building scenery which is easy enough, pretty enough and cheap enough. Welcome to Good Enough Scenery. Here you'll find exactly that. Using well tried and tested techniques as well as innovative building and creation systems for your table top terrain.
I build terrain for Middle Earth Strategy Battle Game, Warhammer 40k, Warhammer Fantasy, Kill Team, Necromunda and more but the techniques I use and the things I can make be used for any table top game really.
Also learning as I go to an extent so any constructive comments to help me improve are always welcome.
I am blown away with this. Thank you all in the hobby club and thank you Chris for doing your bit. 🎉🎉 I’m not crying it’s just some dust in my eye I swear. 😭😭😭😭❤
Looks great! For working with foam it's helpful too using toothpicks to help pin things together & with craft sticks (and wood stain) wooden support pieces can be added for a bit more decorations.
Quite awhile back, I saw Bard's Craft use it, for "dwarven stone". I tried it, and like the rough chiseled/pick-axed sort of look, when viewed in-scale. I've mostly used it for "concrete" walls and similar slabs
If I was making it directly for someone then the board itself would be £600-700, the scatter terrain etc would be extra on top of this. I would happily take £500 plus shipping as I need the space for new projects.
Again, very cool board. I really like the layout flexibility and the bridges placement is really cunning. Definitely makes you want to play a game. Keep rocking, my man 👍🏻
It looks great. Always daunting when you divide the board with water, need plenty of alternative access for playability. The amount of flock in the river is probably excessive if it is intended to be deep water. I think adding flock near the edges but leaving the middle bare and just applying the darkest mattest black paint will make it seem like the bottom of the board is ten feet down rather than two... But maybe there is just THAT much pollution, and THAT much rubble to have raised it.
Thank you for your input, it was very much a conscious decision for it to appear this full, maybe it wasn't the best one but without it I would have used twice as much resin 🤣
love the idea. I've done something very similar with the modularity for a board of the City of Dale that I have been creating. I love how it gives you so much variability in your build. very cool idea, only I found it hard to watch your video as I could barely hear anything being said. I love terrain building videos to give me inspiration and ideas, so would love that addressed in the future.
great video as always. keep it up. please don't beg people to send you money, instead make a support plea instead by supporting you via affiliate or donating. how you word this matters, otherwise you'll come across as jobless yob asking people to fund their playtime. awesome board and inspiring build.
I'd like to think that people would know that by the way I worded it I was entirely joking about the sending money thing 😂 I honestly didn't think anyone would be watching that final few seconds! Thanks for your support
