Good God! Don't put boiling water in the lemon juice drink. That is definitely not Medium Medium recommended. The boiling water will kill the lemon juice. Look up what Anthony William has to say about it. He specifically does not recommend putting super hot water in the morning lemon water. Otherwise, I love this video series! Great job!
Alcohol Use Disorder is completely treatable and effectively curable today using The Sinclair Method. Traditional abstinence based so called "treatments" have a miserablely poor success rates of 5-8% at best. This is because they do nothing to address cravings, which are the primary cause of relapse. Abstinence is NOT the only way, neither is it the most effective. Tge Sinclair Method is back by over 30 years of research and over 120 clinical trials - with a proven 78% success rate. Research The Sinclair Method.
Michelle's testimonial is nothing short of amazing ! Has she done additional kambo sessions, to reach a full recovery? How is she doing ? :) Also, any update on Karen and Susan ? :)
Interesting to see Rory's rugby journey move into this direction and all the better for it. It is very similar in ways to the journey of Rory's former team mate and captain at Toulon, former springbok rugby player Joe Van Niekerk who recently spent time with Rory at his retreat in Scotland and who from 2015 to 2021 had set up a similar type retreat in the Costa Rican jungle and does similar work now.
Good luck to them all but just watch for the monkey I got 9 year sober at 22 through AA sitting in meetings being sick taking fits but stopped going to meetings thinking I knew it all and went back out so believe me it doesn't get better I'm sober again for 3 years have a great job but I will never say never again

Rory seems like an awesome man. There's such a mental health crisis especially among young men. I'd love to see Rory go round schools and talk to young men
Alcoholism is far too common where I come from in Scotland. It has been normalized for far too long, the problem is that no one ever does enough introspection to realize that they might have a problem. Maybe they do actually realize but choose to bury their heads in the sand too. Multi-generational trauma, lack of recreational facilities for folks, broken families and internal mental health issues all culminating into a 'cocktail' of absolute destitution (if you'll pardon the pun). Well done to everyone in the video who healed themselves, don't continue adding misery to the universe 🙂
Great video Alan, when you mentioned Robbie it brought me back, when I stayed in the Vale Grey street at the time Robbie stayed with me for nearly a month. GBNF the bold yin is regularly on my thoughts. And when I look at you I see him. Yeah you lost your brother but you will always have a brother in me. 💯❤️🙏👌
Hi Mark Hi Alan glad to see your on the Stoney Mullin, in my younger years if I wasn't in the house I'd be on the hill spectacular view all year. Great video great message about personal baggage. Is Juliete the same Julie I know lol ❤️🙏 if not doesn't matter, hope you are all well. Proud of you both spreading the message. Much love guys always ❤️🙏👌
Tried to stop 1986 37 days then failed . Finally got clean 2006 . Have been white knuckling it since . Wife of 44 years died recently . Now I don’t have the love of my life supporting me I’ve started watching zoom AA meetings. Watching video as this helps me recognize I am not alone
I would love to just enjoy a few beers and leave it there ..but i cant . Beers lead to whisky and that leads to blackout for me . My last hangover was hell on earth but here i am craving drink again . Its the devil i swear it is .
My beautiful daughter went to scotland , she never drank nor smoked, she got marriesd and had 3 kids. her husband is an alcoholic, he doesnt work, he doesnt do anything, but drink. And she would call me and need me and if I loved her I would come to her, or send money. I live in Australia , battling cancer, and being cared for by my alcoholic husband and my ice addict son. FML what do i do? CRY
The most difficult part about quitting alcohol is that it's so accepted socially. I remember being 15 and thinking when can I Start drinking. I Never thought that about any other Drug.
Here in the states its the 3rd biggest preventable cause of death in females 35 to 55....this directly corresponding to the start of ladies nights in the 80s and 90s
Great docu but that opening drone shot was hilarious :D why bother bringing in the drone to cut to another camera? I'm 11 days sober for the new year and loving life. Thanks for the doco guys.
Stayed off it for two weekends, had drink l.night and drank what was there, absolutely gutted I didn't stick to being dry. I feel like crap now and having to start again, I have a binging problem and It's horrible even tho it's once a week it's still a problem for me I feel like crap seriously don't know what to do
Sorry to hear that mate, but remember there is help out there. Contact any of the support services mentioned at the end of the video. Much love and best wishes
I agree I live in Scotland and I've always hated how in our society its glamrlized in advertising on tv radio cinema the internet etc and I hate how if you get drunk and put your and others in danger your a hero
Can't understand a word...my 6 year says he can only understand English and Chinese...doesn't understand this language...lol.. - from a Canadian with proud Scottish heritage.
My first weekend gone without having a drink in I actually can't tell how long! It was the most refreshing weekend - no hangover and able to get up and go do things without the hangexity ontop of it was the best feeling ever - here's to this weekend being sober 🙏 love to all going through alcoholism, it's not a joke and I'm a once a week binge drinker and to think of anyone that has Extreme addiction makes me think how fortunate I am to have a good supportive partner and people around me.
You have to change your mind set when it comes to alcohol it may come with age that’s what happened i me , view alcohol as not having a good time but only a miserable time that changes your personality and can ruin your life , have fun without it try new things new hobbies find new ways to chill it doesn’t have to come from the inside of a bottle with alcohol in it ..
