Chris Gable is a singing saxophonist who also plays guitar a bit, loves playing bass despite having dreadful technique, and also plays a few other instruments. He's pretty good at the whole music thing and would probably be more successful if he knew anything about how to market himself... but alas, he does not.
Instead he spends silly amounts of time recording music and making elaborate music videos in his studio that a few hundred people see and thus earn him about $4 each. C'est la vie.
Chris lives in Australia on the NSW Central Coast, about an hour north of Sydney. Before COVID ruined everything he split his time fairly evenly between playing local gigs (mainly weddings & corporate events) and performing his award-winning show aboard big fancy cruise ships all over the world. He misses both. Horribly. These videos are his way of passing the time whilst not allowing himself to get too rusty.
Hope you enjoy them! Give em a like & subscribe to the channel if you do. Cheers!
I wish I'm gonna play just like you one day...I have been playing saxophone for about a year from Music School and this year they are probably gonna put me on the School's Rock ensemble were they play that type of rock music. So I hope that I will be playing just like you one day.God bless you❤❤❤
I don’t know if you read comments on older videos, but I wanted to say this is the best, most faithful cover of Stairway I have found. Other cover artists take too many creative liberties with this song. You nailed it NOTE FOR NOTE with the hardest part to play. I would LOVE to hear a full cover!!!
Só não curti o sax com timbre né guitarra em algumas partes da música. Se tivesse tirado a distorções teria ficado 100. Mesmo assim ficou muito bom, parabéns pelo excelente trabalho
So good! He even added the muted rythmic strums Slash did on "where do we go" at 4:43! Perfect! When most sax players who swear by Charlie Parker probably wouldn't pay attention to a guitar solo in a rock song, it goes to show Jazz lovers the musicianship of Slash as a composer.
