Both saxes were recorded live in a single take. A few missed notes & some dodgy tuning but I really wanted to do an honest, live recording. I learned the whole thing by ear, basically everything except that big harmonic minor run-up in the middle of the guitar solo. Video was deliberately edited to show aspiring sax players the fingering.
Distorted tone & wah came from Cubase’s built-in plugins. The wah effect was added afterwards, operating the wah “pedal” with my mouse. It’s far from perfect but hopefully you get the idea.
Another entirely solo project. Performed, recorded, mixed, filmed & edited by me in my little home studio using cheap software & entry-level equipment (including the kit guitar Les Paul I just finished building!).
