The reason you returned it coz the cover for card section kept opening while inside pocket? Maybe they can fix that or wait for Zenlet 4 pro max? Man all in all it looks so cool. Would be a shame not to get it
Yes it’s a really cool looking wallet but the main reason I returned it was because I had some occasions when I was not able to open the coin storage compartment.
Well atleast the coin part doesn't open by itself when in the pocket😁 i watched an instructional video on how to open it. Applying pressure on opposite side. But I guess it depends on production quality as well. Hope some actual wallet brands make these.
I just received mine today. Just ordered the ID panel and the business card (cache) panel. Although you say it’s chunky, it’s not that much thicker than some of my other EDC wallets. They could stand to have better directions on the box.
Just received mine from AliExpress this morning in the post, and although I kinda sussed out the basics I found your video really helpful. Also inspirational for the ways you can use this in very versatile ways (I bought for Pomadero style learning, but now I’ve no excuse now not to do 5min scales!! 😂 great idea). Also you brought out the parent-kid usecase. Far be it from me to suggest to the very clever manufacturers to help popularise this device in UK/US, but your video is super helpful ❤
I use mine a few times per week since shooting this video & have charged the battery no more than twice. So in my case i would say the battery life is quite good…
😂 I’ll be honest with you… It kinda does have that vibe! 😅 This is especially so when opening the vertical storage. Does sound quite ‘tinny’ (much more when it’s empty)
No I don't apply grease. I had a few occasions where I wasn't able to open the coin storage. There's a link to a quick fix below thatI got from Zenlet: drive.google.com/file/d/1ZsdwAgpkrH5OrNLL9Xp_Rb78pwEktJ-i/view?usp=drive_link I actually returned my wallet as I was having too many issues with it. I will do a follow-up video soon...
Yep… It certainly is a monster. In all honesty, having spent a while using this thing, I would say their Zenlet 3 Plus is probably the best wallet they have.
It comes with the front and back removable panels. So two. Note: After using this wallet daily since shooting this video, I can no longer recommend this product. I’ve had issues with not being able to open the lateral storage (coin storage area) and also the wallet pops open in my pocket occasionally. I am returning this wallet and getting something else. I will post a video soon…
@@inspector-tech- Sorry to hear that, because I know really enjoyed this wallet in the beginning. You may want to consider the Flipside 4 wallet, and the Pelican G5 wallet. I have them both, they're good wallets.
What an incredibly stupid idea for a wallet. Why would I want to replace my small leather wallet with what is essentially a 2cm deep metal tin? Then add in how fiddly it is to open and get at your cards plus the cheek of trying to squeeze more money out of you by selling the childish concept of additional back and fronts to swap out. What kind of dufus would waste their money on this? Jeez!
I have the same max version. I love the wallet, but I find that it has a tendency for the vertical direction to open on its own in my pocket. Have you seen that issue?
Do you have it in vibration mode? I guess it’s fully charged right? Is there no sound at all both in manual and automatic mode? If there’s no sound i would contact the seller and see if they can help.
Great review! Really interesting to get your perspective and to hear about the daily struggles with this wallet. I was wondering if you know how Zenlet claims that the Pro will hold 12 cards overall (one in the front slot and eleven inside)? You said yours holds 6+1 right? And that seemed pretty realistic from the looks of it, so I am confused :D
Daily struggles??? 🤔Well I've got a part 2 of this wallet coming up so stay tuned!! 😁 I have a Pro Max now and for me is significantly better than the Pro. Just ran a test and max cards I could fit was 11 (using front and back panels & vertical and lateral storage). TBH I would only carry around 7 cards max at any one time (then I could use the lateral storage for notes and a few coins). Anyway... part 2 coming soon 👊
Also if you have swing enabled your repeats will be swung. And also you can lay in 16ths at a low velocity, and then switch to eighths and repeat with a more velocity over the sixteenths. That will give an "up" feel.
You just answered the question I was trying to figure out, received my push 3 on Friday, the controller version. So basically ima have to learn how to produce music in section view.🤷🏽♂️ talk about learning curve
Yeah thanks. I need to remember that! Somehow i got it hardwired into my brain to say it the wrong way 🙄 Will leave a Post-it note on my Push to help me remember 👍🏾
Yes it’s Shift + Record. I think it might be good for injecting a bit more of a human feel into your tracks like, for instance, recording transitions or automations for certain sections. Then again if you’re actually playing live in front of an audience it might be a good way of capturing your performance for later replay, uploading online (e.g. Soundcloud) or simply for self analysis…
So to make sure I heard you right, I don’t need a audio interface with the controller version of push 3. And will I be able to plug my speaker monitors in ?
Yes that’s correct. Both the Standalone & Controller versions of Push 3 have built-in audio interfaces with balanced inputs & outputs. You can plug your active monitors directly into Push 3. The only reason you would need an external audio interface is if you needed more than 2 audio outputs. (Or more than 2 inputs). In that case you could connect an interface via the USB C port on the back of Push or preferably via the ADAT port…
Thanks for your amazing Push Tips & Tricks 👍 You did talk about the ‚record enable‘ function if you hold down the button of a Track on your Push…but can’t see if its armed or not. Actually you can….--> When you hold down the Track Selection … look closer to the little Circle ⭕️ right next to the Tracks Name. The Circle gets ‚bolder‘ if you arm the Track. ✌️
I think the bug is that the push can record to arrangement view, it used to be shift + record. Push record button should be the session view record button, to empty circle button, not the regular record button. two different buttons. That’s actually seems very annoying.
Hi there. This is CME WIDI Bud Pro that i use to transmit MIDI to my Behringer Crave wirelessly. I have a WIDI Master on my Crave to pick up the signal. More details here… www.cme-pro.com/product/widi-bud-pro/ www.cme-pro.com
appreciate the time taken for the breakdown-- wondering which version to get ,, standalone or controller-,, i'm not a performer- , ,so strictly for production purposes, ,hotel room or couch beats etc,,
Well in your case if you're open to either machine (& obviously have the money) then I would probably go for the standalone with a view to sending it back within the return period. That way you'll get to test the more expensive machine and have your unique hands-on perspective on whether it fits into your musical workflow. Or not. During this 'test period' I'd check out things like: * How many times I played it standalone vs tethered * Is there a particular area of the house where I can sit down with this thing and be super creative (i.e. get into a zone without the distraction of other equipment) - Same for outside (coffee shop, park etc...) * How's that battery life holding up? * Does the 'scaled' down version of Ableton in standalone mode hinder my workflow or does this restriction increase creativity? * Is it a pain to sync what I created in standalone mode back to Ableton & vice versa... Does it work flawlessly 90+% of the time? Of course you might want to be weary of keeping the unit (& packaging) in pristine condition if you intend to return it etc... Then if you find standalone a bit over the top, scale down to the 'normal' version 😁 TBH I could have gotten the standalone unit if I really wanted to but the absolute No-No's for me were: * That battery life! * Intel Processor (performance/heat) * Can't control 3rd party plugins (standalone mode) * It's quite a hefty & large unit (minor point) * I don't make a living from music so the extra expense wasn't justified Would be interested to know what you chose. Enjoy...
@@inspector-tech i can't thank you enough for really important questionaire -- my standalone should be arriving in an hour or -but you're right,, i'm literally gonna use this like a checklist- and make a solid decision -- really Really appreciate it-, 👊🏽
hmm this actually isn't a bad thing for the way i work,, i'm an either or kind of guy,, sometimes start off in session view,, sometimes drag audio or start from a midi clip in arrangement-,,
legend, very helpful! I am using the push 3 as a controller for Abelton. In arrangement view I can trigger playback but I can't seem to figure out how to stop play back. Wondering if you knew? I thought It would be the same controls you'd use for session view. Pressing the stop button or shift, stop but that action ends up taking you back to session mode and the track continues to play in arrangement.
Hi there. Not quite sure i understand. When you say you’re trying to press the stop button i assume you’re pressing the track stop button? I.e. this will stop each track from playing but the main sequencer will still be on. I haven’t tried that yet from arrangement view. I’ll give it a try. But in terms of stopping Ableton from playing… the Play button works perfectly for me in either Session or Arrangement view…
@@inspector-tech thank you! yes you're right you just press the play button again to pause and stop, can't believe I didn't think of that first. Cheers :))
@inspector-tech I finally received my glissy silver pro max this week and it's OK. My main issue is that neither tab to pay side works. Ive flipped my card every which way and it appears the removable panels are too thick for it to work. Are you having the same issue?
After shooting this video I started using the 'tap and go' feature of this wallet and yes, I noticed the same thing. On some terminals it was difficult to read my card unless I had the card very close to the sensor. But overall I was always able to get the card to work. Are you having the same issue in all stores you visit?
A company called Sequenz originally made this stand. It's very hard to get now (in Europe) and is over €300/$300... sequenzmusicgear.com/en/products/lineup/ I'm using a glass shelf on my top tier. Makes it easier to see stuff below. In my view this keyboard stand is beautiful. Fairly sturdy yet lightweight. There's a keyboard made by Vox called the Continental 73. Looks like a nice bit of kit and apparently comes with a stand. www.thomann.de/intl/vox_continental_73_keyboard_black.htm?shp=eyJjb3VudHJ5IjoiY3oiLCJjdXJyZW5jeSI6MiwibGFuZ3VhZ2UiOjJ9&reload=1 This stand is more or less an exact copy of the Sequenz version but 1/3 of the price. This is the version I have... www.thomann.de/intl/vox_continental_keyboard_stand.htm?shp=eyJjb3VudHJ5Ijoic2siLCJjdXJyZW5jeSI6MiwibGFuZ3VhZ2UiOjJ9&reload=1 Three caveats though 1. You have the Vox branding on the side of the keyboard rest 2. It's made for a 73key keyboard (but should accomodate a 76 key just fine. However, 88 keys will likely not fit 3. The bars in the middle of the keyboard rest are meant to screw directly into the Continental 73. I removed them and used the Sequenz keyboard holders. (sequenzmusicgear.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/11/detail_k-holder02-3.jpg ). Not sure if you can even get these any more...
Hi :) I am wondering if you know if there is a way to change the length of the capture feature? Sometimes it's 2 bars for me, then other times it's 4. I've looked in the manual and checked on various forums, to no avail.
Hi there. You can't change the capture length prior to recording. It basically captures the entire MIDI input for that track from the very start of you 'playing around'. So if you had a drum loop that you were jamming to and that loop played for 84 bars, then after pressing Capture, your Captured events would be 84 bars in total. However, it seems the Push will only play the last 8 bars since it's assuming you're likely to want to capture the end of your jamming rather than the beginning (where you were probably just doodling around until you got into the groove). Good thing is, you can adjust these settings to tell Live where to start playing from and for how many bars... Hope that helped.
Thank you so much for the in depth review and the additional information regarding the Pro vs Pro Max Model. By any chance you have a affiliate / coupon code that we can use to support you? Planning to place an order for a Pro Max version soon. Thank you.

Thank you for the review. I ordered the Zenlet Pro like you and am going to cancel my order and get the Pro Max. I ordered a leather cover and thought it was going to be applied to both sides!
Yes I strongly advise you to do so.... The max is a bit thicker but I think it's worth it to have two removable panels. Despite liking this wallet a lot I'm still not happy with the aluminium side!! Hope you enjoy yours when you get it... 👍
@inspector-tech Sorry you had to be the Guinea, pig. Have you thought about sending it back? Do you think the springs and functionality of the wallet are good quality? The fanning out of cards looks gimmicky from the video.
@@DrAwesome9 Yes i sent them a message if I could return it. Not expecting any positive reply. Have no idea how long this thing will last. Seems very well put together. Probably too good actually as like i said the lateral storage is very hard to open. I would say the fanning function is not a gimmick and is actually quite useful
Hello , I have been following your channel very well. Your channel video topic and quality is very good. You can take your channel even further if you want. But there are some important issues in your channel which will not grow your channel easily if not solved. and your channel SEO score is absolutely zero. this is why your you tube growth is very low. If you can solve this problems your channel will grow very quickly. subscribers ,views , like, comments is very low according to your channel age. and views ,like, comments is also very low according to your subscribers. because channel setting problem and video SEO problem. If these two problems were not present in your channel today you would have got many times better results.
Thank you so much for the constructive points. I have no idea about promoting my channel and at the moment am just concentrating on trying to get better at creating and uploading content. I figured at some point i will also work out the SEO part 😅 Anyway… once again, Thank You 👍🏾👌🏾

Yeah I've got a bit of a strange setup at the mo'... Using the Audient ID4 as the audio interface for my Macbook Pro. Using 1 audio input on this interface for my Microfreak (mono). All my other gear is patched into a Behringer RX1602 V2 then into a Tascam US-4x4HR. Yep a bit strange but I plan to get another interface in the future that can accomodate all my gear. I'll then patch my Behringer Crave and Microfreak into the Push... Let's see 😁
I'll have a video about that soon. In the meantime I believe you can rename clips directly on Push 3 by ensuring you have the relevant clip highlighted on the Session view on the screen. Now hold down Shift and press the Top button above the clip, above the screen. Should give you the option to rename the clip via the left-most button under the screen. At least that's how it works for me using the Controller version. Should be the same for Standalone... Let me know if that helps...
