The Yellow Evo 5 surprisingly also is Akari Kito's favourite car. She still remembered her PTSD while watching Demon Slayer after the noise of EVO V came in.
14:00 oh thats why its so shit i got assetto like 3 years ago and have tried to play it 4 times and given up every time because its dog shit didnt know that was because it was controller only gotten 3 hours over all that time
Part of the issue comes from the fact that in spite of the cramped dimensions, the roof is rather tall, to the point that Jeremy Clarkson could drive around in it.
I still play this game. In person with my friends for multiplayer. And single player. (So much.) The level of geek I have gotten to with this game is unreal. I have street cars that can break 10 second 400m. On sports tires. I have race cars that can go over 300 MPH. I have setups that I have been working on for years. (RGT) I'm not even the best racer. But my cars are so well set up. I can be a significant danger to many other racers just on my clever car choices. I know what the fastest 400m is in the whole game. Edit: The Tarmac CZ3 race car. Fight me. But I also know which car has the fastest 400m of several different classes of car. I know who has the best grip, the most agressive nos response, the strongest turbo, ect. I have all the stats mapped out. With cars in my garage to demonstrate each record and talent. I wonder if the online servers are still up. Would be cool to test some of my more creative builds. I liked this video. You got a new sub today. Thanks for this. Also, I agree, GT4 is the everest of racing games. None more enjoyable anywhere. Thanks for reading my novel.😊
As a GT fan I cannot agree. Cannot save during a long endurance race. An absolute deal breaker. This is the only GT game I've not completed 100% and it is because of this one thing.
I've been playing GTR2 since pretty much the release of the game. I still have the original disks, although I use a no CD patch nowadays to spare my disks. But it's always been on my hard drive for as long as I can remember. It's a fantastic sim and it deserves every bit of praise it receives. More people should try it. And as you say despite it's dated graphics, it has moments when it looks, if not like a contemporary sims but one that's a few years behind. Well worth it. More people should experience this title, and if I may, also bring up SimBin's other masterpiece (in my opinion at least) Grand Prix legends. Although you can get that experience in GTR2 alone with the Power & Glory mod pack, for the most part at least. Great sim, great video. I'm happy to see that there are still people out there that care for this piece of gaming history. I know this comment's been all over the place, and might seem quite incoherent, but I tried.
Honestly I can't Accept the controller roasting for Assetto Cosa. I never had problems with it nor did I need to play hundreds of hours to get used to it. After I adjusted the config to my liking it felt like the best racing game you can play on the controller. FH5 for example assists you way too much and the wheel speed isn't adjustable enough so it always feels like some cheap mobile racing game where you feel out of touch with the car itself.
your comedy and education on gran turismo earned the like..... your clear love for the ultimate car in the world, the Great Toyota Supra..... earned the subscribe !!
My theory is that it's about the Game's name itself can be mixed up with so many things including the GTR 2 series, if Simbin decided to name it something unique like Assetto Corsa, Gran Turismo, or Giro Finale, it could have more popular
If you're still running GTR2 then check out my channel for videos of my track builds. You can find download links for them in the track descriptions. I'm also working on four Championship mods one of which will be ready for release once all the tracks have been uploaded.
I have the same feelings for LFS (Live for Speed) as ThePurpleguy123 has for GT4. If you are a big Gran Turismo fan, I recommend checking out Super Woden GP II, it's a very fun little game.
I was in the 10th grade when this game came out. This was one of the first things, if not the first, that I bought from Amazon at a time when most people did not buy things online at all. I remember it feeling like the future had arrived. I'm not sure I can explain how crazy all this was to someone who wasn't alive back then.
Seeing a CR-X substituting for an AE86 in this video (Toyota hadn’t yet properly returned to FH4 when this video was made) actually reminds me of when Top Gear substituted a Yugo for a Bentley Mulsanne back in Series 16, after they had planned to include the Mulsanne alongside the Mercedes S65 AMG and Rolls-Royce Ghost in their Albania road trip to find "the best car for the Albanian mafia" but Bentley pulled out just before filming was due to start.
Man I loved this game , we used to play with my dad and brother. Each of us had his own car . My brother had the White Astra Touring Car , I had the Motul one and my dad I think had a Subaru ? I don't remember since we never saw the back of it , he always struggled with controllers lol . But we also used to choose other cars with my brother and race twice in Trial Mountain , this way each used both cars and we calculated the differences to determine the winner of each round . And the races were brutal , because we raced that track so often , we had our lines on point, and we both knew how to cheat against each other too.
I used to play this game on a controller back then when it came out on the DVD because I didn't have a wheel, and I'm genuinely curious how the game feels on a wheel I have to give it a shot again
In GT 3, I swapped the gear ratios from the Oreca Viper and tweaked the suspension a little and it was very manageable. The top speed loss was negligible.
This build for the Warthog quickly became my fave car to free roam in in Horizon 4 and I'd love to see an updated guide for Horizon 5 if you ever return to this series!
