That's the wrong way😒 start with the thin laces from the bottom across, then up to make a loop, keep going to the to, them out the fat laces through the thin laces loops😒🤦🏻
I’m on a road trip at the moment trough the Norway and stopped in Mo I Rana for a night. I made a walk excact same places and thought at the statue that this view is a landscape of my soul. Even if i’m from Finland myself.
Pozdrav, Sale.
I purchased my camo Ranger in 2016, used. And it still holds up, no damage or anything. And I live in Norway, where winters are hard. This jacket is still pretty good.
Snijeg pada i do poslije Uskrsa.
what is the name of the model of the jacket that is worn at the beginning of the video in a checkered pattern. I write through a translator, errors are possible.
One of a kind. Last time I had seen a Mud Camo Ranger in stores, it was like in 2008 or so, a very rare jacket. Hope Carhartt will re-launch this model anytime soon.
Early 80s we only laced them like that if we were chequering another colour horizontally through them, only graf characters had them flat across in that simple style, on a real sneaker it just looked too messy, you can - as you did there - feather and pat them neater but walk in them they soon bunch up and lose the uniformity, we put the bottom lace in first (as you did) with equal lace either side then latticed up tucking the remaining excess length inside with a little inch of tails out of the last (but one) holes, this held its shape more securely Also to top the look off we rocked 'jelly rolls' which was where you wrapped a sock around your foot then put the laceless sneaker on and laced up, the sock made your foot wider and spread the sneaker open more creating a wider area for the laces, nice to see you keeping that flavour alive tho bro
Amazing Place Mo i rana i live here for 11 years and i love to live here im very close to the city and i always walk here and in the sommer time the kids playing here. a very peaceful place .
Yeah, the town has it's unique charms. During summer I used to lay on the concrete benches near the statue. A really nice and chill place. Even though... I moved south, to Drammen. Mo I Rana will always have a special place in my fondest memories.
Did you buy any fat laces from eBay or can you post the particular link you used to purchase the laces? There’s quite a few sellers who have fat laces on eBay but I’d like to try these specifically ✌️🙏
Don't put fat laces through the holes...loop regular laces through the holes then put the fat laces through the loops. That's how we did it back in the 80's and then again in the 90's when the style became popular again.
Hi, thanks for the advice. But I am not sure that I understand this thoroughly. How to loop the regular laces? Like vertically in between holes? Or just tie them normally in criss cross pattern?
@@SaleBrutale I'm not sure how to explain it without a picture but basically take the regular laces so they go horizontal across the tongue but vertical up the sides so that there's a loop between each eyelet and then take the wide laces and put them through each loop up the sides between the eyelets so that the fat laces stay flat and look almost as if they are setting on top of your shoe. Sometimes we also put a thin piece of cardboard/card stock underneath the laces to help keep their shape.
Thanks man, I am a huge Carhartt fan as well. Simply love the stuff they make. I don't do this to get more people on the channel. I am doing this to help people out when buying stuff.
Usually, depending on the material. Those are the tiny symbols displayed on the inside label. If you are allowed to wash the jacket in a laundry machine, or iron it. For example, I have already washed this jacket in a laundry machine for a couple of times and it is fine.
