I was born in 1985, I've never seen him run and I haven't lived through those incredible and unique years, but his legend and his fame made me passionate like no one else. this is an example of what was and is a great champion
Te tengo en recuerdo y va a ser eterno, en el monte de Pedro Álvarez en Tenerife un tramo subiendo, justo donde los asadores, las 3 de la mañana, a oscuras, en la curva de izquierda... unas llamaradas impresionantes por el lateral del M3 de Telefunken, espectacular y fineza conducción de Josep Bassas, me reitero en mis palabras, que Dios te tenga en la Gloria, DEP. De un gran admirador.
Muchos años han pasado pero este gran piloto sigue siendo un referente para la afición, no solo por que era espectacular sino que iba fortísimo y marcando tiempazos, plantaba cara sin complejos a todo un Carlos Sainz lo cual dice mucho de su nivel. Te echamos de menos. Descansa en paz Pep
just watched a welch hill climb event from 1981 with Toivonen in it. He was flat out and always sideways, yet had fastest time on downhill ( and would have had fastest on uphill if not for one mistake ). Its kinda crazy how hard he over drives his car, yet it still goes fast anyway. Very aggressive and inspiring
La Delta s4 non era propriamente bella esteticamente anche se aveva una cattiveria e fascino unici. Allora una domanda: perchè non mettere in evidenza ciò che aveva di migliore al mondo, ovvero il suo sound? Perchè coprirlo con della musica???
@chrisdu29300 j'aime quand les gens s'en prennent aux autres tout ca parce qu'ils expriment leur opinion ,j'ai le droit de penser ce que je veux de Renault car franchement dans tous leur modéles il n'y en a pas beaucoup qui font rêver!?Et puis "inculte" pourquoi,je vois pas le rapport avec le fait de considérer une marque automobile comme étant quelconque!

Delta S4, the evil twin of normal rally cars. Killer of drivers and spectators, this monster was the zenith, the absolute, the ultimate in automotive go fast insanity. I love it.
